1Celine12 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 (edited) I have this so called friend named JJ and all he wants to do is make the same jokes over and over and he repeats himself constantly. I have a friend named Ryan that wants him to stop being annoying. JJ says he's sorry and then goes right and does the same jokes again. The joke that he does is Mike Harvey this and Mike Harvey that and he just won't stop no matter how many times you ask him. My friends Ryan and JJ are both Legally blind and they met at my blind summer camp and Ryan is thinking about talking to the coordinator about not being in JJ's cabin next summer and I don't blame him, and if JJ hears the names of the guys in the cabin and Ryan's name isn't there he will think that Ryan doesn't like him anymore. JJ also calls me all the time and my Dad is getting sick and tired of him calling me everyday and he told JJ that I have rules and we are only talking once a week for 10 minutes and he told me that if JJ doesn't quit calling me he will put a block on our phone that wiill block out JJ's number. Ryan and I would LOVE some advice as to how to deal with JJ. We try talking to him and that doesnj't help so we don't know what to do. raluca Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 i don't know if anything i say will help...but anyways...i believe that JJ should be taught new jokes does that make any sense? i mean...i know how it is to be like JJ in a way cause i'm like him too for my friends when i star talking about Celine and they don't know how to keep my mouth shut! i think you should talk honestly with JJ and tell him what boderes you...if you know how to handle him i'm sure he'll understand! hope i helped! I think we need to talk to his parents and let them know what's going on so they can tell him when to stop. Thanks for your help anyway. It's great to know that I have friends like you that care.
