When attempting to contact Jacques, Céline Dion's brother, he revealed the existence of a confidentiality agreement related to a secret project. "We are unable to speak to you as we have to other media outlets [...] for the simple reason that we have signed a confidentiality agreement with a producer regarding an upcoming series about our family history and childhood, including our sister Céline," he announced. Céline Dion's family history and childhood will therefore be adapted for the screen in a series titled Growing Up Dion.

This project is adapted from the book Dion, a Family Saga, written by Jimmy Dion, the singer's nephew. Co-produced by Jacques Dion and the Los Angeles-based California company Diamant Rouge Entertainment, the screenplay was entrusted to British author Zoë Green, known for her work on the series Sirens and Sleepy Hollow. For the very first time, Céline Dion's siblings will share their family's origins, their daily life in Charlemagne, and the singer's meteoric rise to fame.

Céline Dion: Who are her 13 siblings?

To understand Céline Dion's incredible journey, one must go back to her childhood spent with 13 brothers and sisters. The eldest, Denise, lives in Florida, while the second, Clément, worked for many years on his sister Céline's estate. Claudette is the family spokesperson, while Liette is involved with the Maman Dion Foundation. Michel worked as Céline's tour manager until 2021, and Jacques is co-producing the upcoming series.

Linda moved in with the star to support her in her daily life, and Manon worked as her official hairstylist on tour. As for Louise and the twins Paul and Pauline (the latter being a restaurateur), they are more private. The Dion family has also experienced dark tragedies with the death of Daniel, following a battle with cancer, and the fight of Ghislaine, a former backup singer for Céline, against the disease.

I don't think Céline will be part of the documentary, but it will be interesting to watch!

This was announced a while back. It’s not a documentary but a tv series. French tabloids just rehashing anything about Celine right now.

It’s exactly the same thing. ‘Celine before Celine’ was a working title, same as ‘Growing up Dion’.
