A new remix has been circulating for a while now.

By Sebastian Ingrosso/Swedish House Mafia.

 

It's been played at several shows, by Tiesto, David Guetta, Martin Garrix.

It's rumoured that it will get a release soon.

Who’s saying it will be released next week? Are we sure? I don’t want to get my hopes up again for something new and then it doesn’t happen 😅

Of course we are not sure. I read that on X and Sebastian Ingrosso posted yesterday what it seems to be a crop from the artwork of the single. And he liked all the comments saying that he should release the remix.

Your original post made it seem like there was more certainty, so I hope it does come out. I wish her team had done more remixes and promoted more of her remixes over the years. And some DJs have done remixes of her songs recently and used other vocalists. Missed opportunities! Love that the EDM community is embracing her though.

Since a lot of other djs started playing this particular remix in their set etc.

 

I don't think we have to get some news from Céline's camp about it.

I think TC holds up very well, actually. For me, Courage had some incredible songs and a lot of heart, but the album was too long -- and unfortunately her vocals/pronunciation took me out of the experience at times (which retrospectively was a sign something was wrong).

I absolutely agree with you about the courage album, it really is one of my top favorite albums from Celine. The only thing I don't agree with you is that it is too long. A Celine album is never too long haha ;)

Not necessarily expecting official news from Team Celine about it. Just don’t want to get my hopes up for something if it doesn’t happen. Hopefully it is released next week, if the rumors are true.

Sadly, it didn’t come this week, but I’m hoping soon. I even emailed the Live Superhuman company who releases Ingrosso’s projects, but no reply, sadly. Some artist mentioned him in her stories recently, along with Live Superhuman, so I’m hoping his unreleased project isn’t with her instead of the Celine Dion ID, but I guess time will tell.

Agreed! And I don’t want them to do what some other DJs did where they end up using someone else’s vocals on it. That LaBack Titanic remix comes to mind and Cyril’s The Power of Love. I think since Swedish House Mafia just released a single last month that maybe Ingrosso is waiting a little longer to release it. I hope it gets released anyway. 🤞🏻

I was kind of hoping for a different cover too, but I’ll take what we can get! I’m hoping for larger streams too and maybe a #1 on the dance charts! Here’s hoping!🤞🏻

The SMHOF was viral on tiktok when it was released. This isnt. This remix would also have to be playlisted. SMHOF still has 25 million playlisting. Thats a lot for song that didnt even do well except in like one country. Most older hits dont even have 25 million playlisting. Its still getting 80,000 streams a day. The odds of this outstreaming SMHOF are very low unless it takes off or they just put it on a bunch of playlists

You re right, but Im being optimistic about it. Seb Ingrosso is super big and appreciated. Since now the reviews have been really good and I dont see why it wouldn't become bigger than SMHOF. I guess we'll see. Imo SMHOF sounds a bit outdated and boring. New Day sounds really fresh to me.

I just listened and I wont pretend to know anything about EDM but it was pretty forgettable. It has like 5 words from ANDHC and just a basic beat for rest of the song. Ill stream but im not sure how well it will do. SMHOF was a lot more catchier
