Re-unblock TTWII video in Germany please team celine, since it was available since like two years ago and then suddenly blocked, same for je ne vous oublie pas video and when I fall in love video :/

All the others that are blocked here since forever (incredible, a new day has come, immortality etc...) would be a nice gift too

I've always wondered what her career would look like if they followed up the succes of TTWII and went for these songs that were huge back then.

 

Anyway even in this video she looks stunning! Always has been my favourite videoclip!

Actually back in 2022 they shared a very short reel with clips (a few seconds) that we had never seen before from the making of the music video for ‘I’m Alive’.

We should remember that this was already an extension of her pre-break career. It was all meant to stop with the release of LTAL, but then MHWGO was too big. If anything, we got extra.

Someone made an interesting comment on the music video about how it symbolized her now global reach and you see all these people coming up to the TVs to watch her sing, across different ages and ethnic backgrounds. Not sure if that’s what they were going for, but it seemed like an interesting read of the video!

 

I always kind of took it as her being a wise sage that everyone came to listen to though, haha.

When you think about it, this album is absolutely odd. Half greatest hits - when she could have filled up a whole disc - and half new songs. Some of the songs have become big hits with fans. "That's The Way It Is" was an astronomical hit and it was played so much on the radio. I'm glad she did it on the TC tour.

 

I'lll never forget as a kid in 2000 watching TV and seeing a commercial that showed the music videos! I was shocked. So shocked that I called the number to ask if a video was for sale. Of course not. But still. I remember trying to record the commercial.

 

Then the video came. Wow. It was something I played a million times. Also was sort of weird that we had songs that weren't really singles. But then again, they made a lot of the songs singles. So many of the videos I'd only seen tiny dial-up quality clips on Céline's website. It wasn't till about a year later that MusiMax in Canada had a special showing of all of Céline's videos from "Listen to the Magic Man" to "A New Day Has Come" that I saw some of these videos for the very first time, What an exciting time that was. Not being Canadian, I bought the VHS on ebay sold by some seller in Québec for about $100. As a teenager that was a big deal. There I discovered the "Incognito-era" videos and really fell in love.

The good thing about the ATW era and her hiatus was that I had the time to discover her older albums and videos (English and French). So I got a deeper look behind the "Titanic singer" image. The rise of the internet/digital age played a big role at that time. There were a lot of great fan pages to search for her music etc..

I only wish her cover of the two beatles songs she did were on there and that cover of Tears in Heaven.
