Oh that is really weird. I never saw his solo version included on ATW on Spotify. I think it's a copy rights issue. Just like why her duet with Johnny Hallyday isn't available either.

I will say, the video quality is pretty stunning! I can’t tell from Apple Music if it is HD or 4k, but it looks very nice!

Interesting. They didn’t take the performance from the 2001 All The Way DVD, but directly from the 1999 CBS special, as her intro speech and the final moments at the end were both cut for the DVD. They definitely should share the full thing now!

But what else is new, it never is… if they just digged deep, maybe they have the recording sessions to the new tracks on that album… where is the studio footage of TTWII, or “Then You Look At Me”…we know Rene had everything filmed so let’s not act they don’t exist.

I do, reluctantly, admit there’s probably little demand for a physical re-release for album anniversaries or vinyl editions. I can only guess the sales for the previous releases make it not worth their while.

 

Having said that almost *every* major artist and MORE than a few lesser artists manage to re-release their albums on vinyl or create anniversary editions with rare content.

 

Failing that they can throw digital content our way that - I’m sure - some would even be happy to pay for. But, still, they can’t even do that.

 

Nope, us Celine fans have to make do with 25 second behind the scenes clips of a photoshoot and upscaled 25 year old videos.

Yes, when I look at Mariah's releases (30th anniversary edition of Music Box etc.) and she will release sth. for the 30th anniversary of Merry Christmas this year, I'm pissed off. I know we got the documentary and the Olympic performance this year, but release wise we are poor fans.

That's why we shouldn't expect much. I mean we got the full olympics performance professionally done so we should be grateful for that & for the performance at the Fashion Show the other day. It's showing she's starting to get more confident being back on stage. I wouldn't want much posting anyway as we do know and it has been confirmed by Céline herself there's a new show coming soon so we just need to be patient & wait to see as most of us will be happy that she's even returning and I'd still pay to see her even if she is lip-syncing because that amazing woman has been through tons which we'd hate to have to go through ourselves!

So of course the sales are going to be dissapointing.

 

And it doesn't always has to be a physical release.

Look at Mariah what she did for each album anniversary.

 

They uploaded remixes, demos, old TV specials.

 

It isn't that difficult to create something that would satisfy us.

The release of My Love on vinyl deffo blocked any chances of ATW being released on vinyl

I would LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOVE to see the recording sessions of TTWII! I would love to see how Céline felt while recording this song: was she exciting because it was so fresh and modern? Did she had troubles finding the right notes, or was it all done quickly? It would be so wonderful to see!
