On the other hand, do you really think a couple like David & Linda would do something that drastic just to promote their reality show? I don't think so. There are plenty of other ways they could get the country's attention. This is really sad either way though. How could they make such a wonderful team writing & making music and not in life? Quote

Canadian composer David Foster to split from wife David Foster and his wife Linda Thompson, who currently star on the Fox reality show The Princes of Malibu, are headed to divorce court. Thompson, 55, cited "irreconcilable differences" in filing for divorce from her record producer husband. The Grammy-winning Foster has worked with major stars such as Madonna, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Barbra Streisand. Thompson said in a statement released Thursday that the reasons for splitting "will remain personal and private" and reiterated that "it is important to remember that real life is not be confused with art or entertainment." The divorce was planned before The Princes of Malibu even went on the air. The show centres on Foster's spoiled adult stepsons, Brandon and Brody, who have moved back to their parents' Hollywood mansion. Thompson, a former Miss Tennessee, was previously married to Olympic gold medallist Bruce Jenner. I remember seeing them on the show and they were affectionate, and then when Celine was on Oprah to promote Miracle they were together too. I saw them on "The View" a week or so ago...and everything "appeared" to be kosher. But...no one knows what goes on behind closed doors! They didn't go public until after the show was cancelled.
