Céline Dion on Jean-Pierre Ferland's duets album

According to Jean-Pierre Ferland, on Les échangistes Radio-Canada TV Talkshow, he will go to Las Vegas to re-recording 2 songs as duet with Celine. The songs will be Ma Chambre and Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour. These duets will be on Jean-Pierre Ferland next album to come.

Jean-Pierre Ferland a contacté Céline Dion pour lui demander de faire le duo. Celle-ci aurait voulu participer, mais c’était impossible, en raison d'autres obligations. Il lui a donc demandé l'autorisation de prendre un ancien enregistrement d'Une chance qu’on s’a, qui avait été réalisé alors que René Angelil était toujours vivant. « Je ne pouvais pas faire ce disque-là sans cette chanson », explique-t-il.

For someone who has loved and admired Céline so much, helped her with her career writing beautiful songs when she wasn't that popular, and leaving all behind to travel and be with her either to perform a song on her TV specials in France, or on a massive concert along more guests in Les Plaines, or just to record personally in the studio with her in Las Vegas, this comes as a slap on the face. Jean Pierre has always come to Céline, no matter what. Same as most of the artists who have worked with her and always say "yes".

 

But it seems that when it's Céline's turn to dedicate some of her time to other artists, it's not the same. She either refuses, cancels in the last moment, or in the best cases, you get a prerecorded video message from her But it's certainly a triumph to have her presence on other singers' projects.

maybe it´s not her fault alone. Because of her health situation at the beginning of this year, a lot of the plans must have been changed, and now it´s maybe too late, there isn´t enough time anymore to fullfil all projects, just guessing..., but I´m not quite sure about it, because of the duets, Jean-P Ferland could have easly done his vocals on the tracks,while Céline was sick or on tour and when Céline is in the studio, I think it´s possible to manage, to record the missing vocals for the duets, just after she recorded a new song for the upcoming english album... so yeah don´t really understand the situation and it´s a bit sad, because I would like to hear the duets

In fact she has recorded before while on tour. During the TCWT, when she was in Japan she recorded the duet with Yuna Ito, and even a version with Japanese lyrics. So it's not new for her to record with someone while she's touring or in other places away from home.

For all we know, it could have been recorded during the January - March time when Celine was sick. It could also have been in recording when Celine was on tour or during a vegas leg. We dont know.

The project was not to record Une chance qu'on s'a again. He wanted her to re-record MA CHAMBRE and JE N'AI PAS BESOIN D'AMOUR in duet with him. After she cancelled it, he asked if he can take une chance qu'on s'a for his album.

You didn’t get a thing of the point, as usually The point about not returning the favour is when she is asked to participate in other singers’ projects and particularly when she has to travel herself to comen to others, not when some artist writes a song for her and COMES TO WHERE SHE IS in the recording studio to record with her (like happened with the songs in Sans attendre). That’s a complete different scenario and just the most convenient thing for Celine. But now that the contrary situation appears, Celine just won’t go to Jean Pierre, wherever he is, to record those songs. See the difference now?

 

And btw, that “someone” who said she doesn’t return the favours in the same way is ME, and I have a name, or a nickname for that matter, so I would appreciate if you just directly quote me or name me each time you throw some of your hidden hints and insinuations to ME (which happens more than often btw)
