I need a little help from my English speaking friends....

I was hired to translate a book about God and Christianism, and I'm faced with a small challenge.

I found many passages during the introduction about "Cod's answers", and I can't find any reference. It's almost impossible to find what's all about on google.

It would be great if anyone could explain to me what that means.

Is that a code? Is that a acronym?

Please help me! :-D

Are you sure it's cod's?? Perhaps code answers instead?

Sorry, I've never heard of "Cod's answers."

Was it a typo and really meant "God's answers" since it was about God and Christianity?

That's what I'm thinking. Even though I found it many times on different passages of the book.

I asked some Christian friends and none of them have heard it before.

I'm almost positive it's a typo.

It has to be. I was raised Christian, don't follow it now, but have NEVER heard of it. No clue. Your English is great, though, but I'll help in any way I can. Good luck and congrats, they sure hired the right person.

I agree with everyone here. It sounds like a typo or an editor with a "fishy" sense of humor.

Thank you! :-D

I consulted with a lot of Christian friends and they haven't heard it either.

It's definitely a typo.
