Don't you guys know "Sherlock Holmes" is my middle name . I just search the internet, and a lot of the info can be found on Wikipedia, I know this source is not to be trusted most of the time, so you search local, for example for France there is the SNEP, and it happened to be that you could/can search for album, single certification on that site, same goes for the Canadian certifications. It took me a while to find, and I know I'm missing out lots, since you can't search local sites anymore that easy. All this info is also on the Collectors list together with all the Awards she ones won...

It's also funny that by the years the numbers to reach gold, platinum or Diamond dropped, sometimes by half of the numbers needed in the early 90. So if an album released in the early 90, reach double platinum in the recent years it had to sell less to reach the same certification.

These numbers are way too high.

For example, D'eux: it sold 4.5m in France and about 1m in North America. So the actual sales are about 7m and definitely NOT ten.
Same with S'il Suffisait D'aimer. No way it could sell that much with only 2m sold in France. I bet it's less than 4m worldwide. O

One Heart ten million? really? Five million at most.

And so on. In my opinion, Celine has sold about 170m albums and 40m singles worldwide (which totals to about 220m records as Sony has stated). She's second best-selling female artish behind Madonna.

The site was updated in January 2014, at least it says so. You say OH sold 10m while the site mentions sales of 5m so it makes sense that you disagree with some of its info.

Yeah but some other info is also incorrect. I spend like a couple of years and they even got some Numbers wrong. We just don't know the exact sales since Sony doesn't publish it

Sony seems to count the Titanic OST as part of her sales sometimes (example when they awarded her for being the only artist in Canada with 7 diamond albums, Titanic OST was one of them, and the billboards that Titanic OST got were in her name). If we do that then she is about 250-255 million

I also found some new sales records for  Loved Me Back To Life for France.
"Loved Me Back To Life" (2013) was sold 215.000 times and the latest live album "Une Seule Fois" (2014) currently has sales of 60.000. so that means that "Loved Me Back To Life"  technically is certificated 2 times Platinum and "Une Seule Fois" Gold (50,000)

i think her catalog sells a solid 350.000-400.000 worldwide per year. so with nothing new in 10 years she would probably sell 4,000,000 albums

Love it when new young fans discover 90's Celine and get obsessed. I'm super thankful I got to be a part and witness the start and peak of her career! As a teenager she made me broke, thank god my Celine obsession has simmered to just sheer appreciation now.
