And of course everyone knows the song she sang and the order so I won't go over that cuz nothing has changed. She basically says the same script every night lol...I'm so curious about how she feels every night, because she says practically the same jokes and the same things and ppl give her ovations for long periods of time...but anyway..moving on... I live about 4hrs away from Vegas (California, USA) so I arrived thursday June 30th, 2005 went to my cousins house. On friday I planned to meet up with an international fan (Salla) who I met online. This was my first time meeting Salla in person. She is from Finland, and we met online I believe 2 yrs ago (correct me I am wrong Salla). THE COLESSEUM...We met in the in front of the doors where our seats were located and we walked down to our row (second row!!!) and sat down and talked. I also met her friend Sandy (i think?) from Denmark unfortunateoly time was short so I didn't get to talk to her much. Salla and Sandy sat to seats to the right of me. I was directly in the center of the row. The lady to my left was a major Celine fan and we talked and exchanged emails. The lady to my right loved Celine and her husband bought her and her daughter the tickets to see celine for her birthday. Then a few minuted later the show began. I told my self that I would just scream and yell and not to hold back, because the first time I saw Celine, I was so scared I could barely move!! So I was cheering telling Celine I loved her and waving (she never waved back ) At the end of the show I recalled that there where no children in the fron row for her to give the rose to so I was curious as to who she might chose...Then the suprise came!! There was an elderly couple sitting right in front of me (1st row) and she gave it to the lady and she gave the lady a hug!!! And OMG!!! Celine was an arm length away from me!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have reached out and touch her hand, but I thought it would be rude to interfere well she was hugging the lady I didn't want to disrupt that...I mean, how would you feel if you were hugging someone and next thing you know people start touhing you...lol. So all I did was say "Celine" and waved. Now this next part was a blur...All I remember after saying her name was that she looked directly into my eyes and kindda squinted them and then opened them really wide. I don't remember if she said "Hi" but all I know is that she acknowledged me...and I was semi-satisfied lol. Now that I think about it, I should have just gently touched her hand and said "Hi Celine" but then again, would that have been too weird? Me and Salla took pictures with some of the dancers...we also tried to wait for Celine's car near the garage, we waited for about 20 minutes before we got booted by security...me and Salla were thinking "Celine must be coming." THe attempt was unsuccesful because we left (we didn't wanna get into trouble the security guy kept looking at us). And he said Céline was all about love: singing about love, has a loving family, loves so much her René. And the old man admire this so much. He is maybe one of the biggest fans I got to meet.
