Well I believe the reason we skip so much is that Céline's tracks differ in quality and in GENRE! The reason why she has sold so many cds I believe is because she reaches so many people with so many different sounds. You can't point our a typical Céline sound can you? And I don't complain about the previous, because I listen to what I like, and what I like has really high quality and is extremely good and chooses not to listen to what I am not so fond of, there is surely no crime in that?!

 

It would be nice though if Céline could find one genre or 'theme' and keep that through an intire album. That would be better for the feeling of the album and for the artistic feeling. A mixed album sometimes feel too 'commercial'.

Because it sucks! Their voices don't blend nicely at all. It sounds rather terrible. It's like a musical sangria! - too much of the fine stuff and it turns yucky. Besides the lyrics are a crime against love... and Céline is the nr 1 love singer . If Céline would had sung this track alone it would had been ok, it would even be fine. If they'd change the lyrics it would had even been super!

I love seeing all of the different songs that people skip or don't like. Alot of them are my favorites! I tend to like the "classic" ballad songs that she does best but I think that's because they hold up better over time. Things done in the late eighties, full of synths and electronic drums sound really bad now. I like most of her albums, but the worst one, to me, was "One Heart." To me the songs just don't sound right for her. I always confuse her duets with Andrea Bocelli (The Prayer) and the one with Pavarotti (Hate you/love you). I like the one with Bocelli, but not the one with Pavarotti, although it sounds great on my sound system.

 

I tend not to like the "dance" type tracks on each album or ones where they seem to electronically change her voice because her voice does sounds best naturally.

 

I also skip that rain/tax song! It annoys me! I'll probably like it someday!

 

I hope someday she puts out another album that has a good mix of ballads and more uptempo songs. I guess it's hard to choose!

Actually I think it's simply a matter of taste.....Personally I agree with rai,tax-awful desicion for ANDHC album!!!!I love the prayer with Bocelli(in my opinion he has one of the most beautiful and greatest voices ever!!!!!)
