wjd Posted January 22, 2011 at 12:12 PM Posted January 22, 2011 at 12:12 PM (edited) Billboard recently confirmed that they don't class Celine's Im Your Angel as a #1 debut; and their opinion is the only one that matters. Basically, in the same week as Billboard changed their chart methodology to allow non-singles to chart on the Hot 100, (the "test" chart), Celine charted on that test chart. A week later, when the chart was officially changed, Celine was given an official release and she went to #1, but because she had already charted on the "test" chart the week previous, Billboard don't count I'm Your Angel as a #1 debut. ^ That's the simplest explanation of it. Billboard's opinion is the only one that matters Sad times!
