Bellamy Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 who else like Annie Lennox? I so love her. her music is really brilliant. and her voice is so unique and soulful. Annie is the real diva!!! I want to see some more good live performances from Annie. anyone can recommend some to me. my favourite album of Annie is "Bare". I love "Diva", "Medusa" too. but I'm not a fan of her "Eurhythmics" period music. her style really changed a lot after she went solo. and Annie's Music Videos are great. She's really a diva in her Music Videos. I think Annie is a real living legend diva. I hope Celine will do an album like "Bare" or "Diva" in the future. and Celine had said "Diva" album is one of her favorite. she really should do something like that. it'll be amazing. what do you think? I've got her 3 solo albums and some Eurythmics songs, including their recent release from late 2005....This girl rocksss!!! Quote

Célinefull Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Céline could take a few pointers from Annie! She is truly one of the best divas, even if she is not always one that comes to mind straight away. Diva is one of my favorite albums EVER! I am a big Eurythmics fan, but the Diva album is just so good, I love Walking on broken glass and Why, but my favorite video & song is Little Bird, it's just such a great song and the video is cool too! alextrusca Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Hey, does anyone have the "Erased" mp3 from her "Bare" album? Mine sounds like s**t! Quote
firebird Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I'm not a fan, but I like what she does. When I was young I listened a lot to Eurythmics, they used to be very popular, I love their songs like "Sweet Dreams" or "There Must Be An Angel." I also like her solo work. She's a great singer. I hope one day she'll record a duet with Céline. That would be amazing. Quote
Jvix Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I only know songs like "Walking on broken glass" and "Into the west" which is my favourite! I like her voice! Quote http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/1993/110fm.jpg CÉLINE DION - STADE DE LA PRAILLE - GENÈVE - 09/07/08

Brilliant.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I agree. And I always hope Celine would do that too when she grow older.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I meant to type "true" not "ture"! haha Anyway, I think that Celine will probably bless her French fans with some fantastic material that comes from her soul as she grows older and experiences real life a little more. And I hope us English fans get a taste of that as well....but I think we've seen her peak in the English speaking parts of the world. However, I think her greatest English album is yet to come....I hope for an album that takes a long time to record; each track crafted to perfection; some songs written by Celine; a true showcase of her capabilites of interpretation. I hope for an album that is critically worshiped more than another huge selling album. Quote
sayyed Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 u know what? I loove Celine... but Celine has NO album which I love with ALL its songs. Annie has. it's BARE.... it's such a unique album... it's my favourite CD in my collection. I adore all the songs... esp. 'Twisted' & 'Wonderful' & 'The saddest song I've got'. It's simply perfect. Annies voice fits perfectly in all the songs. WOW... i'm so amazed with this whole thing... I intoxicated (is that the right word here?) all my friends with it. They love it too... lolz I can't wait for Annies new CD thats supposed to be released in 2007! Its already in the making! Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes
alextrusca Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 (edited) First of all...I have to say I really like your avatar... And second of all...well...my favourite album is "Bare" and my favourite song now is from another album, "Medusa"..."Thin Line Between Love And Hate". "Bare" is....pure vocal beauty...."1ooo Beautiful Things", "Wonderful", "Pavement Cracks"....the songs relate one to another...they flow...u can see Annie gave her best at writing down her feelings and trasforming them into musical notes. Jeanine Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I just discoverd her "Bare" album. And I'm so surprised, she puts her soul in the lyrics when writing them not only, but also when she sings them. She has the wonderfull abillity to write her soul down in a perfect way, and however it's sometimes a heavy text, she sings it with an air of carrying them for you. Amazing I hope Céline will ones write and ing this type of songs, it can't bother me french or english. 'Alas I'm afraid it ends with hoping.. "No more "I Love You's"" is also a beutifull song, as like "Into The West", a beautifull end in that musical marathon Lord Of The Rings. "Bare" wil always be my favourite of hers.
