Do you think Celine dion sings emotionally over her 30 years singing career?

I am a fan of Celine.I just want to know that does she sings emotionally in her songs for 30 years.Sorry for poor english.I got some negative responses about her singing is lack of intensity of emotional.What do you think,guys?But the most important that we still love Celine right? but i think she puts quite a bit of emotion into

the way i see it, if u dun feel emotion from her voice when listening to it then no otherwise yes

Oh most definately. Celine is the most emotional singer ever. She sings many times with tears in her eyes, and sometimes even running down her cheeks Thats why i am sooo in love with her She puts her alll into every song she sings, not just belting it out. She goes into every song and totally gives it her all, right from her heart. Thats why she is and always will be the best and why she is sooo special and precious.

Totally agree.But also during her first album,Unison.She was criticized for lack of intensity emotional.Lastly,did you mean that now Celine doesn't sings emotionally anymore after 1990s?

I'm totally convinced that, after almost 30 years in show business, Celine still sings emotionally every single song and she always says that.

She gives her best at every single performance; trying to make every live performance her best one. In both My story, my dream and For keeps, she mentions that one of the things that amuses her the most is to become a "singing robot" who just sings and tries to simulate that she gets emotional; she really gets into each and every song.

Yes, she IS emotional when singing. She might have been a little more emotional in the past but she hasn't changed a lot. She doesn't just sing, I think she feels every song.

She still sings very emotionally when she sings in French, especially live (see Live in Quebec!), but not so much in English anymore, mostly because her English songlist hasn't really changed since Las Vegas.

 

I mean, who can put emotion into a song you have performed 1500 times already?

I find that, in general, she's more emotional when she sings in French. She's pretty emotion too when she sings in English though, like My Love!

As I was doing book work for our year end taxes this week I was listening to Celine cd's as I always am and my son said to me, gee that music is boring but he knows how much I love Celine and always have so he smiled when he said it but I did notice that her early stuff are more ballads and most teen age boys aren't in to that but if you have been listening to Celine from the early 90's till now you noticed her voice matured and changed gradually and not all at once. I still think she puts a lot of emotion into her songs it's just that her style of music is changing. Anyway, I love all of her songs just the same. I guess you could say I'm a Celine addict!

I think that Celine began her descent musically after her father's death; After the father's death, she lacked the quality of voice that she started with the decade. After 2003, the only emotional album was Miracle and 2 or 3 songs on TC; in the 90s, when she opened her mouth, you could INSTANTLY get chills and be already hooked. Now, she is more nasal [in her singing] and is often emotionless. Her worming up before the show sessions are much better than her actual performance. Returning to her father's subject, he was her biggest fan and she was EXTREMELY sad after his death; so she kinda let it loose and didn't really care about keeping her voice up to shape.

I never mentioned anything about her wedding. I don't know what you're trying to say.

 

Losing a parent is a lot more emotional than getting married. Partly because when getting married, you have good things to look forward too. You're on a high. When losing a parent, there is nothing to look forward too. It's just a low. It's unexpected. You don't know it is going to happen. A wedding, you know many months in advance. So of course, it makes sense that she is going to cry the day her dad died but not when she gets married. Not to mention she never sang anytime close to her wedding except a week or two after and that was Think Twice. Nothing to get emotional about.
