Question about The Concert For World Childrens Day DVD

So i ordered the concert for world childrens day dvd on ebay as i understand it was a emmy nomination type of dvd,not commercially released. well i know from reading about this show Celine sang Thats the way it is, the prayer w/josh groban, goodbye's the saddest word, my heart will go on, and at the end was part of arnt they all our children. Well the dvd i got isnt the whole show that actually happened but rather the dvd is to be of the television airing of the concert. So my question to anyone that has this dvd is does yours have my heart will on, on the dvd or was that song not shown on the abc airing of this concert?

 

p.s. mine doesnt have a main menu just instantly starts the show.

Yeah there are 2 versions....one is the short 'emmy nomimation' version, which also doesn't include performance by Peter Cetera, etc. and then there's the full version incl MHWGO and songs by Peter Cetera, Nick Carter, Enrique, etc.

The Emmy version is not too hard to find, but the original DVD release is extrememly hard to find, and will cost a lot of money.

yea and as far as i understand the full length dvd of this concert has my heart will go on but not goodbyes the saddest word so we really need to have both hehehe

the full version is very hard to find! the ones I've seen also end up very high! 70 dollars or more! I don't get why there had to be 2 versions!

Yeah, the normal DVD says "Widescreen Entertainment Special" at the top.

Not for me. Funny story actually, I e-mailed RMHC and the lady I spoke with mailed the Complete FULL DVD to me FREE OF CHARGE! Bless her...

I didn't pay as much as $200 for mine!! I'd never pay that much for a dvd.

When looking at the covers look for extra names on the cover - such as Michael Buble. He's only on (singing) the full-length version. Still appears on the bonuses - Roanld McDonald), but not during the concert. And as someone said Peter Cetera is another one. Good luck, its a great dvd to have.

I have the version with MHWGO, can post the scans of the cover if you want.

It has very nicely made menu and pretty much of extras, including the video of Céline and Nick Carter visiting Ronald McDonald House.

If I remember well, songs with Céline are "That's The Way It Is", "The Prayer", "MHWGO" and "Aren't They All Our Children" as the last song.

And I didn't pay $200 for it - only $35 but ok, it was in February 2007 so maybe it's more rare nowadays...

There are two versions of this DVD, one of them only including the MHWGO performance, but if both of them include the GTSW performance, I'm not sure. I thought I heard that the DVD which includes the MHWGO song doesn't include GTSW, so any of the 2 versions is complete

I know that, Javito. I own the longer DVD version that was distributed by Ronald McDonald Foundation itself. It includes these 4 songs by Céline:

 

1. That's The Way It Is

2. The Prayer

3. My Heart Will Go On

4. Aren't They All Our Children

 

The other (shorter) DVD version is the TV broadcards of "Emmy Nominations". It doesn't include all of these 4 songs I've mentioned but it does include "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" instead.

 

And I still hope that someone here knows the actual order of the entire show, at least considering Céline entries and can help me organize her performances in the correct order so I can sort them correctly in my collection.

I can't see on that small pic but if the product description is correct than it's indeed that full lenght (but still incomplete, lol) concert that I have and you can get it on VHS tape for $27,90 only!

The shorter version has TTWII,TP,GTSW+Children anthem. Unfortunately the did major editing to this version, so it has Celine singing the first 2 songs, then she's back later on. Whatit looks like to me is that Celine sang GTSW after TP, and they edited it so (shorter dvd)she says goodbye after GTSW - which she does after MHWGO on the other dvd. But that's only what i think!
