Yeah she does have an amazing voice and talent, but it takes SO MUCH more than that to be Celine... And you know what, I used to quite like this girl but now I don't... because of those hater comments about her I read here so many times :lmao: sounds funny, but maybe it actually isn't because that means that Charice haters from our Forum made me almost become one of them - and I'm not really a person to be a hater at all. So, I wish Charice well anyway, but I don't want to see too much of her :giggle:

I love her very much! Her new album is amazing too.

I'm happy she sees Celine as one of her hero's!

I think that what the fact that they said that Charice is gonna be the next Celine made us feel is just like the way Barbra Streisand's fans felt in 1997, when they saw that David Foster told Celine that she is gonna be the next Barbra Streisand.

And I know that every artist is great and irrepetible, but hey, it's David Foster the one who said that he felt the same way when he first worked with Celine Dion in her early years.

I think Charice is definitely not gonna replace Celine Dion (because nobody on the planet Earth will ever be able to replace her) but I also think that Charice is gonna have a similar success as Celine had in the mid-90's, someday in a close future; I think this 'cause she's starting her carreer the same way Celine did when she started her international carreer in 1990, 'till 1992.

hey guys, i'm a charice fan, only joined this forum way back when celine had a duet with charice at msg... i had to registered cuz of all the hurtful comments after the duet and after on the charice thread.... guys you have to understand that Charice is not the one saying all that stuff like "she's gonna be the next celine" it's the people who works with her and the people who interviews her, i do understand that it is a bit disrespectful, and unfair to you guys who are massive fans of Celine.. i agree celine cannot be replace, but please no harsh comments about charice, we charice fans do lurk around here and read the comments, many nasty comments, but please understand that Charice is not the one saying all these things that might be irritating or annoying to you fans of celine...:( all i know is charice is a big fan of celine, and has nothing but nice things to say about her, and she really admire her, she even feels like she doesn't deserves being compared to celine or whitney or any of them cuz she said they are already legends and she is only starting... anyways PEACE. She has agreat voice yes, and she shouldn't be compared to Celine, but she isn't the one saying "I'm the next Celine Dion." She's just expressing her admiration she has for Celine & it's not like she wanted to sing MHWGO for them...
