Handwriting.. can you still do it?

After so many years in front of a computer and doing just about everything online or by computer, I find the rare times I actually have to write anything the old fashioned way it just feels so strange and unnatural! Is it just me??

 

Suppose one day in the future using a keyboard will seem equally strange when we are all busy talking to our computers..

Well, I still write when I'm writing songs, although sometimes I like doing that with my keyboard too.

Yes, I guess in the future we'll all speak to our computer and it'll do the typing job for us, but how about mute people?! Ooh, maybe they'll find the cure to it! Ad then everyone will be able to sing Celine's songs!!!

Yes, I still do it, because of my pen-pals and writing poems. But I am much faster on my pc.

I adore handwriting. I do it all the time...the feel of the pen in my hand, the beautiful curves of the words and letters sweeping across a page, which a computer deadens with its sterile shapes, the way a piece of paper turns from a crisp sheet to one riddled with dips and valleys - God I love to write. I absolutely hate computers but for the essential things I can't do without them...otherwise, you won't catch me near one. If I can do it without a computer, I WILL!!!

LMAO Me too... sometimes I fall asleep in class and I'm still writing half asleep and the hand writing looks WORSE than normal. I get so embarassed when someone asks me to share my notes then they ask me "What's this word?" and I have NO CLUE. I should look for my old notes and scan them so you can see HOW BAD my notes can get sometimes. Good thing I'm majoring in computers if not I'd be screwed.

Last year, writing like this would take a few minutes LOLOLOL

But they told us in college we must have this sort of perfect handwritting at least in our tests and exams. So I've been reharsing for months and now I write it really fast

I write often only numbers because I´m accountant and I use PC for most work. Writing letters is terrible, I don´t know how could I overwrite so lot exercise-book at school.

Sometimes I write my shopping list and instead words I see only lines and scribble.
