I don't believe it either for now. I prefer to wait for an official confirmation than to trust some "supposed statement" from Claudette(Dion) in a some paper or on radio. I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but this is exactly why I never took the guy on the radio serious: Even though they did mention Celine's name a couple of times, her name was never added to the list of performars. I just checked again and her name is still not on the list:

I guess it is possible that they are not talking about the same event, and that Celine will sing at the opening ceremony and not at this concert. I'll see if I can find anything out...

i know i'm probably going to get banned for saying this because people are going to complain angrily but i dont want to see Celine singing at the world cup of soccer olympics or whatever its call. to me this presents certain dangers. for one its very dangerous. they always have riots at these things because its main attractions are rowdies and loud people. and the type of people who go to these things are not going to appreciate Celine's music. im so afraid of her getting booed. like they did at the Live 8 concerts. Theres millions there and once someone starts something its spread like crazy through the crowd and I want to protect my Queen.
