War Photography

Hello everyone!

 

Have you ever wondered what influence the war photography has on us?

I mean positive and negative as well.

 

I have already found some information about the American Civil War and the Vietnam War. And it's easy for me to come up with many positive aspects of war photography. But i's much harder to think of any sensible arguments against it

huge impact....i live in germany and school forces us to deal a lot with ww2....it's sad and it's too much

I don't think there can be a joyful emotion whenever you see pictures of war.. so many casualties and destruction are always inevitable, regardless of whose perspective you're looking at it. I think it can only serve one purpose, that is to remind us what war brings about.
