The Lebanese Celine Dion

Im Also Lebanese and i adore both english and lebanese music, As much as i love Celine in English and French, I Love this singer from Lebanon named "Najwa Karam"

Their stories are quite similar, they are the same age. They are both married to a older manager, both have big families, and both are considered the biggest selling artists in the dominant countries that they perform, they both have awesome stage presence but at the same time are kinda shy, they both donate money and aide in world disasters, they built a theatre for her to perform in Lebanon nightly... and they both are grounded and sing mostly about love... Please take a look at the talent of Najwa Karam!

Well i am lebanese as well and i like najwa, but the similarities in vocals are almost close to none. the range that celine has is not found in najwa. however najwa has a powerful voice that is true. i love her duet with wadih el safi

Of Course Najwa cant go as High but i dont think Celine can go as low

Celine did go as low and lower actually (Bb2). I never heard najwa go there. by the way najwa comes from my city as well so i am really proud of her! she is one of the best in the arab world

I like Najwa

but I think Asala is the closest arabic singer in voice to Celine

she has a wide range and belt very high for arabic music

she always releases two albums in close times both in diffrent languages (diffrent accents in Assala's case )

they both in the same age

they both are from musical backround

they both mostly sing ballads and about love

they both married their older maneger (even though Asalah no longer is married to him
