Finding out my husband of six months (and his friends) used to study to Celine's music when he was home in Ghana. He says she is very popular there.

 

I bought two tickets to the Kansas City Concert and didn't know who I'd be going with. When he found out I was going, he jumped at the chance because he always wanted to see her perform live! (we had an extreme! time)

Probably when my brother and I took an hour drive to our mom's. I insisted we listen to Céline and he's a good brother, so he complied. We talked about Céline for most of the drive. I don't remember specifics about the conversation, but during "Eyes on Me" and a certain conversation he kept accusing me of having the hots for Céline I still remember the way he asked me and the tone of his voice, it was so cute!!! Once we got to our mom's the three of us drove to the store. "I Surrender" was playing, at the part where she hits the high notes. My brother said "and yes...that's Céline Dion!" My mom hates Céline and just said "okay then". I found it hilarious! I could tell from the tone of her voice she was thinking "oh great! both my children like her. How could things get worse?" My family sees me as the obsessive type, so it was real cool to have the opportunity to talk to my brother about her, without feeling judged.

Thank you Frida. It's been almost 4 years since he's been gone, miss him every day. He was and always will be the one and only love of my life Thank God for Ms. Dion's music helped a great deal going through the grieving process.

Me, singing IMMORTALITY in school in 1998, and i was crying from the intro until the song ended.

 

And in 2001, my friends asked me to sing in school during the Tribute to Parents, as a surprise guest.

I sang THEN YOU LOOK AT ME and IMMORTALITY...and everyone in the audience cried....

I have no idea they were crying until i went home...
