I think she would have came in higher on the list if her tour went for a few more venue's in 2009! You re proud of what exactly? You re proud because she is more and more rich? I dont find any reason why a fan would be happy for this. But, it's really nice to hear that her tour was successful, i m very happy for this :)

That is the point of the post that her tour did well! If you read the article on the link i posted it said she earned $100 for her Taking Chances Tour. I am glad to see she is ranked and acknowledged for her hard work and her AMAZING tour! :-D Edited by davidjag79

Just look at our list of the 15 highest-paid celebrities. As a group they earned $1.6 billion between June 2008 and 2009. Only one, Beyonce Knowles in sixth place with $87 million, is under 40. (Tyler Perry turns 40 on Sept. 14.) The top five are all over 50.

 

EXCUSE ME Céline is on 5th spot and she is most definately not over 50!!!!

It's funny....In 1997, Celine would have been about 29, but she looked 50....now she is 40 and looks 29. :D

Clearly, the world was waiting for a new Celine Dion album. In 2008 the Canadian singer released Taking Chances, her first English-language album since 2003. Her world tour to promote the album was 2008's second-highest grossing tour behind Madonna's Hard Candy tour.
