A few weeks ago I sent a card with a note to Celine in Las Vegas thanking her for the great show I had went to and asking for a possible autograph. I was suprised to get something in the mail yesterday but the a little dissapointed when I got a form letter from her fan club saying how she cannot respond to every request but here is a postcard, unsigned. It was actually sent from her fan club headquarters in Toronto which means they must just take all (or alot) of her mail that goes to Las Vegas and just forward to Toronto. I guess I should not be suprised since she does get tons of fan mail. So I envy some of the people on this post that actually got autographs sent to them. Well, maybe someday I will too! Quote

She used to send a lot of autographs in the beginning, but I think a lot of people started writing, so her team now just fowards it to Toronto. Even if I did not get an autograph that does not mean that you will not get one. I'm sure she does respond to some of them, even now. I sent my card/letter to a generic Caesar's palace address that I found on a Google search. I thought someone on this topic said they sent flowers or something else backstage via the front ticket office when they were in Las Vegas and I think they got a "real" response. Maybe the next time I go to tthe show I will try to give a card to someone at the ticket office, it may have a better chance of actually getting to her then actually mailing it. If you really think about, just imagine how much mail she must get each week/month/year from fans around the world. I'd actually like to know exactly how much because it must be a huge amount. I kind of knew I was not going to get the autograph when I got my response within two weeks of sending it! Maybe when she comes out with her new book she will do a book signing. ALthough if she did that it would probably only be in Las Vegas. Quote
