She sounded supposedly very good and she sang a couple of my very fav tunes of hers. Also she had short hair during the concert which I think suits her well.

I already heard snippets of some songs recorded by fans and she sounded SO GOOD. It seems that she is in FAR better vocal shape than on her Mylennium concert tour where her vocals weren't all that convincing for the most part.

I truly can't wait for the DVD. She sounds as good as on the Bercy DVD which is amazing.

I really really like it - she looks DAM good for her age and it's one of my favorites songs from her last album. It's a neat lil idea for a videoclip - just undress like it would be the most natural thing ever.

Bellamy, she's changed I guess. The song says it all - somewhen she had to take step away from the dark side of herself. I, too perfer her second and third albums, they'Re masterpieces of course. Nonethelessbutstillofcourse I like and enjoy the current happier Mylene.

 

 

Just like it is with Céline except Mylene prefers always always always quality.

Mylene is the second best selling Francophone female artist of all time, right after Celine, and not far behind.

 

Although there're some happy songs in her new album, still there're plenty of dark ones. I don't think a person could really change himself completely. Look at the once wanna stop being a Bit** Madonna, she is back to her root now, at least her music.

You're right. Mylene is more original. And she can try some bright songs here and there, but she just can't get rid of her dark, enigma side. Like Celine can try some dark songs, but she's a bright person.

(that's ironic for those who don't know) And she was once the queen of videoclip and now she is falling into this banality. And I don't know why they release the most boring songs from the album as singles.

While I do think the Avant Que L'ombre period is somewhat a lackuster one I would not count this lil CD nor its videos and singles out that quickly. It was all nice, I find L'Ombre has a much better flow and confidence than "Innamoramento". And yes, it has a wonderful tournee Avant Que L'Ombre where Mylene indeed moved a lot and sang with much more vocal power than in 2000! I'm very much looking forward to the live CD sometime in late summer.

I love Mylène Farmer, and have been listening to her for 3-4 years - even more then Celine. Can't wait for the "Avant que l'ombre - Live à Bercy" show to come out on CD/DVD...

You guys should have a look at her concert in Bercy (1996) and also the Mylenium (2000) : the beginning of this concert is AMAZING!
