felixwhoals Posted March 3, 2007 at 12:44 PM Posted March 3, 2007 at 12:44 PM My favourite movie of all time would be Sound of the Music, Back to the Future Trilogy, Titanic and Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Well, all these 4 have quite different genre so I can't pick the best one. SOTM is more musical of which I luv it, BTTF is more to an adventure and I luv it, Titanic LOVE story and its based on true story so quite touching, and LOTR which is more towards fighting, war, and ring and it's more kind of ancient type of movie. So can't choose which one I luv the most. And all these 4 movies have good quality in picture too.. winforlife Posted April 17, 2007 at 02:24 AM Posted April 17, 2007 at 02:24 AM Boris Pasternak's acclaimed novel, Dr. Zhivago is one of my favorite oldie flicks. The main characters, Yuri and Lara create a passionate/illlicit epic love story during the Russian Revolution. The emotive Lara's theme is unforgettable Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v119/LKlafter1/1367035680_small.jpg
Teodora Posted April 19, 2007 at 01:53 PM Posted April 19, 2007 at 01:53 PM I love love love old movies! I preffer them to new ones, because they're based so much on the script, on the text, smart lines, and not visual effects. One of my all time favourite movies is "The Philadelphia Story" with Katherine Hepburn (she's my favourite actress ever). I love "Victor Victoria". Not all that old, it was made in the 80s, but it is a classic. I love everything I've seen made by Alfred Hichcock. Someone said about a movie "The Picture of Dorian Gray"? I absolutely LOOOVE that book. It was turned into a play in Romania and it's one of the best I've ever seen. I didn't know there was a movie also. I want it! Quote
kathyc25 Posted April 19, 2007 at 03:36 PM Posted April 19, 2007 at 03:36 PM Katherine Hepburn (she's my favourite actress ever). I was named after her I think my favorite old movie of all time is Wizard of Oz..Judy was just brillant Quote Music Is Life...Live ItYou are the music while the music lasts. ~T.S. Kian Posted April 19, 2007 at 03:55 PM Posted April 19, 2007 at 03:55 PM Cleopatra from 1963. with Elizabeth Taylor cause I loooove everything that has to do with Egypt. And the sets for this movie are . I don't know if anyone here watched it but that Cleopatra entrance to Rome is jaw dropping, even by today standards in the movie industry plus the story and actors are amazing. Liz Taylor and Richard Burton rock . Quote
