San Joaquin Film Festival

Hello all -

 

I invite all of you (near, far, wherever you are) to my film festival - the San Joaquin Film Festival, my region's first global film festival, regarded among the California Travel & Tourism Commission's new and exciting events of 2008.

 

We're opening this June, from the 4th to the 8th, with over 40 events across my city in multiple venues, including historic theatres and cultural centers - and featuring over 40 films from around the globe - the latest in independent cinema, prestigious films awarded/screened at Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Berlin, and loads of others.

 

Over 40 events of the festival will include over 30 screening events, up to four media forums, up to three symposia with industry luminaries, several parties, and Opening Night and Closing Night - Awards galas.

 

In two days, we will hold a media conference to announce those 40+ films and the latest developments of the festival.

I have been creating this festival, and working with many folks to make it happen, for over a year now. I am delighted that it is coming into fruition. I'll keep all my friends here at the Celine Dion Forum informed.
