Hiiiii, here I am again !! And here's a review of what I did in Vegas, especially of the two A New Day... shows I've had the chance to see ! :wub:

So here I go. We arrived in Vegas last tuesday, and we directely went to bed, at the Boardwalk Holiday Inn, in the heart of the strip. It's about 10 min from Ceasars Palace by walk. Well it's a nice hotel, it's one of the cheaper ones so of course

it's not so beautiful as others like the Bellagio, but it's good though, so it was ok.

We visited some hotels wednesday morning, and of course all I was waiting for was to visit the Ceasars Palace, which we did, I was so exctited. On the afternoon, we went to the swimming pool, from which I could see the Ceasars Palace... And I started to think, God I'm in Las Vegas, tonight I'm going to see Celine Dion, my idol... Is that even possible... Well, I was right to doubt. As you already know, she cancelled the two shows I was supposed to go to. Wednesday, my parents my brother and I were supposed to have the seats 401 to 404, 4th row of the 4th orchestra. That is to say only a few centimeters from Céline... When we arrived at the Box Office around 7:15 pm, a man from the team asked us if we were there for the show. We said yes, and just after we answered "It's been cancelled". My dream was dashed... He said the show was supposed to be on friday, but he wasn't 100% sure. He then told us to try to get tickets for friday and saturday, which we did. The two nights were sold out. But as I'm part of the fan club, they gave us tickets which

belongeg to other people. That's horrible for them, but I'll never thank them enough.

So for friday we got seats 10th row of the 4th orchestra, better than nothing. And 2nd mezzanine for saturday, which we wanted.

To make a long story short, from wednesday night to friday night, we just freaked out. We had been organizing this trip for a year, for my birthday. We were supposed to go in February but Céline was on holidays, so we went in April instead. Our

dream was going away... :cry:

Friday night, after our trip to the Grand Canyon (awesome), we went to the Ceasars Palace, hoping we wouldn't see once again that "Tonight's performance has been cancelled"... Lots of people were actually entering the Colosseum, and so were we too ! What a relief. Many french fans were there, one of whom was crazy and made us laugh a lot ! Indeed, just before the show, a camera is placed on some people, who most of the time are embarrassed and just smile. Well the french fan has been

filmed, and she started to jump everywhere and to shout. So funny :mdr: . Just after, a man who was sleeping was filmed too. His wife awakened him a few seconds after, poor him he was so ashamed. :lmao:

An amazing show, I just loved it... I couldn't expect something better, especially with Pour que tu m'aimes encore and Céline's long hair, all I wanted ! :blushing:

You just don't know where to look, there are too many great things. Fortunately I saw it twice, so that I could catch every detail. The dancers are fabulous, synchronized, never do a step the wrong way. And with Céline's voice, we can't

expect more ! The dancers and the screen give a new dimension. You don't only listen to Céline, with all her emotion, but there's also a staging... One time you feel like you want to cry, and a minute after you want to dance and to sing ! Terrific.

Céline always does her best to be perfect, to sing perfectly... Although her speeches are always the same, you can see that she's into her songs, all the time. I've seen the show twice, and I can tell you that each song was different from one night to an other. The emotion, the way to sing were different... Her look hasn't changed, she still has her beautiful long brown hair. Beautiful :in_love:

The list of the songs hasn't changed either, except that Pour que tu m'aimes encore is after Ammore Annascunnto, not before.

After a few minutes, the lights shut down, and A new days has come started, first with the choirs' voices. At this point, on the screen, you can see Céline going slowly down the stairs... Creepy ! Once the intro finished, the REAL Céline appears

with her black dress, under which there's her red dress. When she started singing, I couldn't help crying ! She was THERE, I could see her ! Then she edges towards the public, who starts applauding. What a treat ! :clap:

Then she sings The power of love, awesome voice, but sometimes we could see that she forced more than usually. Anyway, the decorations are beautiful, and so are the clothings. At the beginning of the song, she sheds her black dress... She's

stunning with her red dress ! :shy:

Then, she starts with It's all coming back to me now and Because you loved me. On the screen you can see poles and thunderbolts, it just looks so real. Again she had a beautiful voice, nice vocalizes at the end. I noticed that during each song, she

blows a lot, it must be tiring to chain that many songs. It confirmed that she was a bit tired, because she didn't puff that much the day after.

She then starts singing To love you more, which might be a playback. But I'm not sure at all. According to me, the songs that may be playbacks are this one and My heart will go on, but again, I don't know. I love this song, once again my eyes

were full of tears. On the screen there're birds flying above white clouds, and in front of it, the violinist plays with dancers around him. So nice !

After this song, she stops singing for a few minutes in order to thank the public, etc. Next she sings I'm alive, with her famous "Shall we go for it ?!" just before. This song makes you want to dance and to move your body ! With a blue background, very nice...

Seduces me... Not only did she sing it perfectly, but the dancers around her, who dragged towards her... Pretty and touching.

Next, she introduces If I could... I cry each time I listen to it, so with Céline in front of me, you can imagine that I cried a river LOL. The tree that appears on the screen looks so real, the piano and the bike that fly... Awesome. The 2nd night, at the end of the song, a woman at the 1st row was crying. Céline hugged her, and told her that she shouldn't cry, otherwise she'd cry too. And before coming back on stage, she told her "someone who cries is someone who's blessed, you are so blessed".

Then she introduces the three songs she's going to sing, that is to say songs from the 50s. At last, Fever and I've got the world on a string. I honestly can't remember the background during At last. During Fever, she sits on the piano, and there are

red lights everywhere. I didn't like this song before I saw the show, it's actually really good. I love it when the dancers come and make her go down the piano, each time everyone applaud.

During I've got to world on a string, you can see that she LOVES what she does. She dances and can't stop moving everywhere. The instruments flying above the stage, with a blue background, look amazing.

Next she leaves to change her clothes, and to have a drink I believe. During this time, the dancers dance on A new love, nice tune ! Even if Céline doesn't sing nor is on stage, it's so stirring...

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I surrender. My favorite english song ! Céline comes back with a beautiful pinkish and glossy dress. I was so into that song... Cried a lot again lol. The lyrics are great, and so is the melody.... When Céline vocalizes at the end,

everyone stops breathing, almost like during All by myself. And at the end of the song, she screams. Impressive !!! She appears on the screen, which allows us to see her closer. How beautiful she is !

During the intro of the Italian song, she goes change her clothes again. She comes back with her black coverall and her hair attached.

Then she introduces Pour que tu m'aimes encore, by saying that it's been written by JJG, a french artist. She also says it's the song that has had the biggest success in France. She hadn't start singing that I was already crying ! I can't help it, this song drives me crazy. The decoration is very simple, on the screen you can see a kind of ring that keeps going in circles, and in the middle of the song, Céline's face appears in the ring. She looks at the camera, so you have the feeling that she's looking at you... You're not normal if you don't cry Sublime.

After that, french fans (me too lol) shouted "Céline we love you !" (in french of course). I also said "Céline we still love you !!" because of the song she'd just sung : for you to love me still, so I told her we still love her... Understand the pun ?

And she answered "I love you too" in french woooooooottttttt ! Everyone shouted again. I think it's after this that she introduces the musicians, and that she does weird sounds with her mouth when she walks :mdr: .

I wish, great song which makes you want to move, I love it when Céline dances.

What astonishes me is that at the end of the song she runs, comes back and starts singing Love can move mountains after. But when does she breathe ? During this one, everybody stood up and danced. Was so cool.

Then I drove all night, the best song to dance on !! Some people kept standing, such as two men who were something like 40 and who couldn't stop moving. You should have seen them, it was so funny. Even they were laughing. The note at the end is

beauuuuuuutiful. But after, she thanks the public, says good night, and leaves running. The lights shut down, and everybody starts screaming for her to come back.

A few secondes after, a big moon appears on the screen. The violonist starts playing the theme of Titanic, and then Elise Duguay plays it on the flute. The moon leaves little by little, and a bride flies above the stage... Céline arrives with a gray/pinkish dress, with a flower on it. As I said, this song may be in playback... But there sure is emotion !!!!!! Especially because the end of the show is coming... So of course, I started crying again...

To finish, she thanked the public, and sang What a wonderful world. The only thing I didn't really like was when she keeps saying "fuuuuuul" before saying world. But it's still stirring.

To summarize, I found her a bit tired friday (I think it could be seen on her face), but better saturday. Amazing show that remains a must see. :wub: :in_love: :w00t:
