All that happened years ago... Now, I am too lazy to join any... maybe once in a blue moon. Whenever I enter singing contests I normally sing My Heart Will Go On, That's The Way It Is, Alone, or All By Myself. I just can't hold the All By Myself note as long as Celine but I can hold it for like 7 seconds without breaking. I got some drawing utilities as the prize. But I know, you mean contests in general, lol... I'm not really lucky when it comes to contest, especially if the winner has to be drawn! In such cases I hardly ever won anything. I won a few things in contests where you had to do something or answer some questions. To name a few that come to my mind right now, for a few times I had an answer right in a local radio station contests and as prizes I won some CDs/singles/DVDs but it was really only on a local station. I never got through to a big/national radio station, I always got busy line in such cases, lol... I won a nice doll for singing a song when I was maybe 10 or 11. It was a Barbie-kind of doll, to be exact it was a Cindy and I was very happy with it! During soccer world championship in 1994 I took part in taking bets for the matches, it was in a culture house of our city district. This contest I won and it was one of the biggest achievments I've ever done as for contests or in other words, one of those achievments I've been the most proud of! Besides, I was almost the only girl taking part in that play, lol... I don't remember what I won for that, nothing special for sure, but my satisfaction and the others' respect were the best prizes! Recently (in December) I won some merchandise of my fave German singer by answering 2 times correctly to a daily question contest held on his website. Actually I got all 24 questions right but each time the winner was drown among those who signed in the right answer. Last year we won a great bascet full of great food goodies. It was at a lotery on a gymnastic club feast where my husband was a member in. We only bought 3 tickets, each only for 1 euro and I'm sure the contents of the basket were worth at least 30 euros as it was mainly stuff by good and rather expansive brands. Well, let's stop here - there isn't much more to continue with anyway.
