Tal Posted March 10, 2007 at 07:25 PM Posted March 10, 2007 at 07:25 PM what an amazing article! they got some facts wrong though, lol. but i loved what was written there. and i cant believe that one of the woman writing for the album was the one that made her bawl in that interview!! im so excited for this album and a little sad that i dont speak the language. and i WISH she would do something like this for her English albums. i know we dont know yet whats going on with her new album but it doesn't seem to be anything on this level. Javier_Natalio Posted March 11, 2007 at 12:55 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 12:55 PM amazing article, loved all of it, it was positive for a change! it'll be an awesome album. And what better news than "no more my baby my Usband" stuff? yey! what's next? "I'll get my jaw and my nose fixed and get a boob job while I'm at it?" that'll be just too exciting... Quote
Teodora Posted March 11, 2007 at 01:17 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 01:17 PM That is a good article! I loved what the writers said, that she's a strong, complex woman that's misunderstood by many. Because the fact is only really hardcore fans like us know her, as much as we can know someone we've never met. Most people, even if they do like her and are fans, only think ballads, baby, husband. They don't know how smart she is, they don't know she can do so much more than being a perfect singer. I'm glad they decided to this album, if it's really that "courageous" as they say in this article. And I hope it will be a change for Celine, it will make her be even more courageous and she will write songs too. Cause she's so good at it! Quote
julien Posted March 11, 2007 at 01:41 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 01:41 PM But, in another hand, every new album is amazing, particular and now conceptual. But the result is always different. If the album is so conceptual, risked, more intellectual, why choose SNRQ which is a very commun song ? I mean it is all except more conceptual, more intellectual, or more surprising. I would even say that it is a bad return in the past without the magic signature of JJG: the orchestration, a bit oversung.... Quote

René 2 Posted March 11, 2007 at 02:51 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 02:51 PM I like this kind of article !!! I also love the idea that sony wants to change her image, no more "my husband, my child" is a very good thing ! I'm very excited about D'Elles, it will be her best album for sure... I really hope she'll try something as new as D'Elles in order to relaunch her english career. Quote
Mozinha Posted March 11, 2007 at 03:05 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 03:05 PM I'm getting more excited everyday with this album, really. celinedionfan Posted March 11, 2007 at 03:07 PM Posted March 11, 2007 at 03:07 PM ..I AM SOOOOOOO SURPRIZED!! I just realised something really important! Till now we used to get from Celine powerful songs (vocally & musically) but most of them (especially her english ones) were superficial on their meaning , expected stories...they were the first pop hits to make million of album sales and become the best selling female singer in the world! She didn't have any choice though cause the audience and the industries needed Dion hits after hits..!! Now Celine is discovering reading as the article says and she desires to perform songs with universal and ideological meanings!! From now and on Celine cares much more for the quality of her songs than their acceptiance from the audience! At the begining all the artists want their song to become big successes in order to set their thrown in music world. But now this has already been done and Celine is looking for more and more experiences! She did the begining with a show...the Las Vegas Show...she made a reality a project that she always dreamed of recording the Miracle....and now she goes on with further progects!! That really amazes me! Celine Dion will become a representative of cultural and mature music!! this will complete me! I couldn't ask more... firebird Posted March 13, 2007 at 07:30 PM Posted March 13, 2007 at 07:30 PM That's a beautiful article, really well written.I can't wait to hear how "courageous, creative and surprising" the album will be. It's good that she chooses such an artistic, less commerce-driven approach to music on her next album to show that the Vegas circus is coming to an end. It's really good that she'll be free to take on a lot of interesting new projects. D'Elles will just be the beginning. Quote

This is possibly one of the best articles I've read on her, despite the mistakes. It describes her commercial success but also her genuine side, it proves that the two things can coexist. Just because you're commercially successful doesn't mean you're not sincere and don't want to be involved with non-mainstream things - people are so quick to judge but it sounds like this album will prove them all wrong. Beautifully written indeed, I seriously cannot wait now guys! I really hope the English one will be something along the same lines, though I have a funny feeling it won't... Never mind I've always preferred the French stuff anyway! X Quote LIFE BEGINS WITH LOVE
