It's most likely a FAKE perfume.

The counterfeiters are quite good...

 

Celine has not been affiliated with Avon ever since 1997, with the release of "Let's Talk About Love," in which she was a celebrity endorser; and I think also for the Let's Talk About Love World Tour. I think their contract was a two-year agreement. After that, they did not do anything else together.

 

It's very easy for eBayers to put things up and to just put up any information... and other eBayers with similar products will post up their things and use that same information.

 

Avon is a mega beauty brand and so is Coty. A partnership like this like would have incurred media and press releases, not "out-of-the-blue" sales showing up on Ebay. If you check Avon's site, there is no hint of any Celine Dion perfume, likewise on CelineDionBeauty.com - the website of Celine Dion Parfums.

Someone on an Celine yahoo group I'm on said Celine Dion perfumes will release a new fragrance, called Spring in Paris, with AVON! Not Coty, but Avon. I thought it was strange, so I did a little research. Here's what I found. But it's in German... Could someone translate please (all I understand is that the source is Coty, not Avon )

reading that press release looks real to me, and those pics of the bottle and packages to...

 

why would someone make the time to design a new package for a ''fake'' perfume and sell it on ebay? i dont get it lol... autographs i understand, thats not difficult to do, but making a new package and press release?

 

they say it will be released in march 2007....

she has time off, she will come to paris to promote her cd, why not at the same time her perfume?

I think just re-do the bottle is kinda cheap. I prefer something completely different like Belong, Enchanting.

Well, I hope it's real because it's a lot better looking than her other perfume packaging.

 

The date on that picture could be wrong. A lot of people forget to change the date on their cameras....but even if it's not, that doesn't mean this wasn't created a year ago.

yeah i see what you mean. its one thing if its a special edition of her original perfume because they so stuff like that all the time (Eternity for example). but if this is a totally different scent they should probably do a different bottle. but i still think it looks diferent enough to pass.

Yes this is a real press release from Coty Germany and it says that the fragrance will be available from March 2007 on. I think it's such a short-time available fragrance as Always Belonh/Sparkling Edition....

i think its the same when we saw the new pics of her enchanting perfume!! (or was it belong?) suddenly they were there and we all thought it was fake because of the bottle etc...

 

anyway i emailed the company who desinged the bottle and all, so i'm hoping they could confirm
