I don't know about you but, every time I visit Celine, I tend to feel departure sadness when I leave Las Vegas. Happy to have seen Celine but, missing her. Wanting to be in her presence once again, and the next time, seemingly so far away.

I know this is common but would like to know how common this phenomena is amongst all Celine lovers.

For me this time was not as serious as last August. Last August I felt sad for 2 weeks. This time, I still am missing her but feel ok about it.

I don't know whether to choose between "Yes", "Every time I see Celine" of "Still sad and depressed".. lol

Just a little sad...but when I first saw her in 2004 (my very first Celine show ever!) I was so depressed after it was over I wanted to cry! It took a good two weeks for me to get normal again...but goodness it was depressing! I wanted to live in Vegas.

Now having seen her a few times...I'm mostly happy to just experience it again and to meet so many new people!

When I came back from seeing Celine for the first time ever back in March 2005... it was like coming back from a dream! I was still in shock! But I still get Celine/Vegas withdrawals every once in a while. :(

When I first saw Celine live (Edinburgh, 1999), I was SO depressed the day after. I've never felt anything like it in my life.

Vegas is different, because I've always planned to return so there was always the next trip to look forward to :D

This September, though, will be the very last time I'll see AND - I'll report back in October how I feel

I feel sad and depressed every time, but this time the feeling was really overwhelming...I am telling you I was crying at the airport when I saw her billboard....it's really been the week of my life, I wish it would never end!

I call it CDWS: Celine Dion Withdrawal Syndrome.

Doctors can't help me. Medication doesn't work. Only another Celine ticket helps! :lmao1:

Man Koolan, YOU are SO right about that! Only knowing you have another ticket awaiting helps.

But, what happens after there are no more shows? What do we do? :( We will all have to get together for a therapy session or something.

Thank you Doctor Clare. Finally we have a name for our disease :flowers:

Perhaps my advance case of CDWS will be relieved when tickets go on sale tomorrow

:(

I definitely feel sad right after the show because I don't want the show to end. Like alot of us I wish the show was longer, but even if it were two hours I probably would want it

to go on longer (I'd take out MHWGO though) :glare:

I'm sure a twelve step program will be available soon. The Physician's Desk Reference

will label this disorder as CDD or "Celine Deficit Disorder" and the entry for it will read:

"The tendency to feel sad and depressed after attending Celine's concerts. Patient's are usually big fan's of this artist but experience sad and often melencholy feelings often for days after attending her show. The only known cure at this time, other then heavy sedation is to immediately start planning to go to another one of her shows. With this treatment, the prognosis is usually excellent." :lmao:
