And then of course we can all conveniently convene at the convention

 

I need to go to bed now so I can get up early and go to work to apologize to my boss for telling him to "go stick a sock where the sun don`t shine coz I`m going home early to buy my Celine tickets"

i didn't get a ticket I called at 10AM and the guy told me there are no more tickets available, so I asked and what is the exact time now? He said "It is currently 10:01AM" OMG!!! I can't believe I didn't get a ticket for the final show...anyone have an extra ticket??

 

well since i am so sad now, and worried that i would not see Celine in her final performances I decided to purchase a ticket for Dec. 14th before they sell out completely!!! So I will be sitting here: 1STMZ1 ROW: D Seat:117

 

I'm not happy with the seat, but at least I will be there

something just seems not right...it seems a little fishy to me, so many of us are saying that we didn't get tickets...how is that possible? At least some of us should have gotten tickets?..im slightly confused

Actually, Jane, I will be sitting in Row B at Rear Orchestra on the 15th.

I bought the 2ndMezz G 409 ticket today on behalf of a friend of mine. So, hopefully, he could be up clapping and dancing along with you

I managed to get one ticket today from ticketmaster I had to hit refresh for 20 min. I finallty got a ticket at 1:25 today.I got 2nd mez 5 row g.Maby i can stop bye in and say hi and introduce my self if there is somebody in my area.Like i said I am new here and was wondering whats going on for pre show stuff. I think it's really wrong, that they're making money on this. I know it always happens, but just grrrr!! It's not fair!

The whole thing is starting to stink! I don't like the fact either that they have started cancelling shows, long after people have bought their tickets. It happened in February and now it looks like some of the April dates have been cancelled (though this hasn't been confirmed yet). Don't they realise a lot of people have to save up for ages to visit Vegas, and they can't swap their dates around at the drop of a hat?!

Why the hell does AEG allow these second-rate ticket companies to purchase up so many if not all available decent tickets for sale elseware? It seems that TM had almost no tickets left to sell at 10am, but other ticket companies had plenty and at a hell of a price.

 

Greed is rearing its ugly (isert 'F' word) face here. And yes, it does smell like rotten tuna. I wonder If Celine's people know about this kind of thing happening. At first glance, some may think this reflects back on the Dion camp as being greedy, but those in the know realize they really don't set prices and availability. But I still think that they should remain in the loop here, especially for the last shows. These show would sellout no matter what the price was set at. So why put it out of the reach of the average person?

 

Just because you can get great money for a ticket does not give you the right to take advantage of peoples bank accounts and/or love for Celine, whether they can afford it or not.

 

My personal limit in balancing out the cost of a ticket versus the value of Celine's show is around $450/ticket. anymore than that, I just don't know if the return on the investment would be enough to offset the ticket and trip costs. As much as I love Celine, money is the bottom line.

I was looking at some of the many ticket reseller websites and most of them only have

mezanine and rear orch seats. Someone posted a link to a reseller that had some Orch 4 seats and other front Orch seats or over $1000. I think the Orch 4 seats were row NN for $1400. I'm sure someone will buy them but it is alot of money. For that much money you should at least be within the first four or five rows.

The strangest of all is that the page gives the impression you can still look for tickets, cause it doesn't show any message saying that the tickets are sold out.. Just when you look for them is that you discover you can't buy anymore...

Ugh I hate those second rate ticket companies. They probably had some kind of agreement with Ticketmaster/AEG Concerts West and they sold tickets to them for a higher price and in bulk, so they can mark up the tickets even higher to make a HUGE profit! 320.00 for 2nd mez...

Though I think its messed up and really unfair, this is standard practice. There's really very little Ticketmaster/AEG can do about resellers purchasing these tickets. They've tried (like with those scrambled codes) but nothing will ever be 100%.

 

For the 15th, they knew the tickets would be in high demand. And you can see that even the resellers have mostly 2nd Mezz tickets, which just shows you how many tickets were set aside for VIPs. Plus the venue isn't that big to start with. There was just a lot going against everyone trying to get tickets.
