Ratatouille - New 2007 Disney/Pixar Animation Film

[Bullet]

I'm not sure if you know about the upcoming Disney/Pixar animation film that will be coming out in June 2007. The movie will be called RATATOUILLE (rat-a-too-ee) and it's about a French rat called Remy. The story takes place in Paris. Do you think Céline might be singing a French song for this movie since it has a French theme? I've been wondering.... Timing would be perfect with her French album!!

Let's hope so...

Here's the synopsis from Disney website:

"In the new animated-adventure, RATATOUILLE, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef. Directed by Academy Award™-winning Brad Bird ("The Incredibles") and co-directed by Academy Award™-winning Jan Pinkava ("Geri's Game"), RATATOUILLE is slated for release on June 29, 2007."

I thought Pixar was done with Disney after Cars

[CSCfan]

No more soundtracks IMO, unless it's a big-budget film (like Ocean's Thirteen)..

Speculation, June 2007, his does too early go out a single in france... 2 months it is long between the single and the album, in my opinion it does not be necessary even in to dream

[smw]

I think she's had her fill of animation films.....she doesn't want to be too predictable!

The new Disney traditionally-animated movie "The Frog Princess" will possibly contain Jazz music written by Randy Newman . "Rumor has it that the project's princess might be African American, with the story taking place in a "New Orleans-ish setting."

This Film would suit more to Celine than a film about rats. A fairy tale with Jazz music.

I only hope that the Princess won't be called Katrina

I wouldn't mind another movie song for Celine. If she did do it, I doubt it would be in French, probably English like Beauty & the Beast (Which was also a French theme movie)

Let´s hope so !

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The opposite. Disney bought Pixar, and Steve Jobs became the biggest share holder of Disney. So Steve Jobs(Apple) rules Disney and Pixar now.

[Andrei Dion]

Maybe.

Hey Becomplete,

Loved your little joke about Katrina the Princess... LOL

Well, not politically correct - BUT FUN...
