Love, Posted November 7, 2006 at 04:23 PM Posted November 7, 2006 at 04:23 PM (edited) I love Costco! I go there every other day. You can get everything in bulk and in wholesale price. Instead of one toothbrush, you could get 10 toothbrushes for the price of 4, and the CDs, are like 11 bucks at the most. And many times, they would carry really nice things in their stores! BUT MY OH MY! Whatever they could not store in their store, they put ONLINE! LOLLL Look at some of the things they have for the Outdoors for "home for the holidays!" sectionJust going to one page, I get this! Fontanini 15-Piece Masterpiece Nativity Collection$23,999.99 Scallywag Sloop Pirate Themed Club House$18,499.99 Artificial Giant Everest 20' Pre-Lit Christmas Tree$5,999.99 I just think that it's so unusually funny that they carry all of these things! And the funny thing is... people DO buy them! But they're so unique! Edited November 7, 2006 at 04:25 PM by Love, Quote

Love, Posted November 10, 2006 at 05:42 PM Author Posted November 10, 2006 at 05:42 PM (edited) The number of people who has at least 1,000,000 USD in assets have doubled in the last four years, I think, between 8-9 million millionaires in our world today (8.1 million reported, but I'm sure there are many more illegitimate millionaires). America has 1/4th of that chunk - about 2.1 million millionaires. I think the Fontanini 15-Piece Masterpiece Nativity Collection is absolutely gorgeous. In fact, I just purchased it. Just kidding. I think it's a beautiful collection, and I can name two families in my city that owns this. The ones who (that) would buy a giant, pre-lit artificial Christmas tree would be either a person with a nice villa who doesn't have a pine tree, or it could be a mall or a corporate office. Now, the only thing that's crazy is probably the assembly. I remember assembling an artificial Christmas tree that was 7' tall, and it took me 2 hours! For this 20' wonder, it might take a few elves and a firetruck! Edited November 10, 2006 at 05:43 PM by Love, Quote

chicagofan Posted November 11, 2006 at 04:13 PM Posted November 11, 2006 at 04:13 PM Wow, I have to get a Costco membership! It does make sense that the nativity and tree could be bought by corporations, churches, and the very rich. They're nice decorations, and if you have a huge space to decorate, you need huge stuff. However, WHO is buying the Scallywag Sloop Pirate Themed Club House? That thing is crazy. Quote
