Seen Celine in vegas? - help!

Im going to see Celine in January and wondered if anyone would be able to share any advice about my visit there.

 

I also want to record her show on dictaphone (with a high powered mic) - what is security like there - and any tips about how I can hide it...??!! Maybe someone can take me through what happens...please.

 

If im carrying a bag with my digital camera and video camera in - they obviously wont allow me to enter with them so what happens is there somewhere to store them at Caesers whilst you see the show..?

 

I would welcome any other advice or suggestions about my visit to vegas.

Well, I have never been there, but I'm sure they don't let you win with cameras and stuff like that, but they have a place where you can keep it and after the show you get it back (That's what I heard)

About recording the concert, I have no idea how people do it, so I can't help you much...

I'm planning to go to Vegas to but only by the end of next year...

I can't help with the recording query, but as regards your camera etc what happens is you go through a scanner (bit like the ones at the airport) while a security person checks any bags you are carrying. They'll ask if you have any cameras etc and, if you have, they'll direct you over to another desk where they issue you with a ticket in exchange for your camera. You reclaim your property after the show. Hope this helps

Inside the Colosseum, after you've gone through the first security check, but before they scan your ticket. It's not a huge area, so you can't/won't miss it

Fun fun ! well i always take my cam in with me inside the theater lol i keep it in my pocket and they dont know i have it. i guess its soo small that the metal detector does not sense it. The metal detector there is weak not like the ones at the airports,its not like you have to take ur belt off or rings and small stuff like that.Try to take a coat and put the device inside may be the mic on one pocket and the recorder on another one. Enjoy the show! i take my cam in to record the audio but i never do it ,at the last minute i dont want to worry about where im gonna put it and things of that nature. If you record it with the high tech mic you better post it here so we can listen to it ! have fun!

They make an announcement asking everyone to make sure their phones are turned off. Plus the security people are always hovering around and if they see anything even remotely suspicious they'll come over to take a closer look.
