In a recent interview he said that he will write one or more for her. No René already in 2003 said she will come back to Quebec writers but certainly not for this upcoming French gem which will have female writers only (with a possible one JJG song). Nothing about males apart from JJG was mentioned for the project that's why I find Ferland's statement weird. I do know Céline loves him and he loves her, too. "Ma Chambre" beats lyrically every song on FIY or TCOML. I love love love it. He writes great great lyrics. But how does she want to fit his songs onto a CD written by female authors? BTW. That would be a dream come true, especially a welcome addition to her lackuster English songs. Ferland said he will write a couple songs for her. He has promised it. But GOD he had a stroke not so long ago!!! Let's pray that he will recover. This will be the best English album ever. HEr only best English album ever. He told in the interview that he is more daring in the lyrics than he was with "Ma Chambre". He spoke about how Céline is a mature woman now and she deserves lyrics that are according to her life stage or sumthing like that. Also he spoke how challenging it was to write this very song for Céline. So gorgeous to read that a real talent is writing for Céline's next English CD! I surely hope he will write more songs than this only one. I must say I expected much when René said "she will be back with the Quebec writers" but I expected in NO WAY she will be singing their songs in English. I would have NEVER EVER thought she would work with some quality producers and writers for an English album! Colour me truly impressed BUT one song doesn't make a good album yet although I predict he has written more than one for her soooo if there are already 2 or 3 songs written by him there is a good chance of the album being good. I can't get my hope up so high yet cuzz it may turn out a complete disaster. But nonethelessbutstillofcourse I would say this is the best news for Céline's English career since its beginning! Coherency and credibility do mean something for her after all. Now please, no Swedes and this album will be truly a gem. Let even David Foster produce the Ferland songs and they will be amazing. Now in the others interviews in "Le Devoir" and "Cyberpresse" on the net he said:"Big great events await me still - I won't release any albums no more! I have promised songs for Céline Dion and Kevin Parent, I will write them. Some songs, that's all." and "[...] Céline asked me for one or two as well. I will write her one or some more."
