Which one is your favourite Celine "era"?

I'm interested what do you think when was celine on her peak (or still is)? From which decade are your favourite albums, performances, etc?

For me, I'd go with 98/99. She looked great, she sounded great, she was the most mature she'd ever been and, as much as I could do without the LTAL tour, it was a great time for her.

Totally, the 80s. Her voice were perfect then... her voice was young and crystal-clear...

i would say 90s, couse at that time her voive was at the highest level, her appearance was wonderful also, in falling in to you tour.

I think that there are benefits and drawbacks to each of her "era's", I mostly prefer her from the 90s and now, it is interesting to hear the evolution of her voice, and with albums like 1 fille and 4 types I like the low-key aspect which had not really come through before.

Celine continuous great BUT everything she made from 1995 to 1999 was simply phenomenal. For me it was her peak.

Se was the queen of the world then.

90s. Celine toured and recorded many classical songs in 90s.

Though she sings many beautiful songs after 2000.

But I always feel lack something.

Maybe Celine's passion for fans.

I like the mid-90ies when she just started to come out big with "The Colour Of My Love" and "Falling Into You" - she gave her best performances around that era - and it was all before the Titanic-commerce.

I also like the "A New Day Has Come" era - a great comeback, and for a short time we had her back, before she decided to go to Las Vegas and do her "selected areas" thing

She won the grammy, she was makking love with the man she loves, she gets married, she was happy, touring around the world, i love her in the 90s.

I definitely think she sounded the best in the 90's. But I still love all of her latest albums as well - and I think that line in "Have You Ever Been In Love" is one of the best.

i think celine`s voice in 90`s is much better than 2000-2006 .

98/99 LTAL tour, she was amazing, so much more confident, and knew she was havibg a rest soon, so she really went for it during that time,

 

I have to say though i have loved her every era, even at the begginning when she was starting out, but the 90s are what i think

But in the 80s she had such great and fun songs and in the last few years she's really been able to enjoy life, which you can see when she performs or has interviews!

I know not a lot of people voted for this one, but I chose 2000+. I just love watching Celine when she was younger and noticing how much she's matured over the years. And it seems as if she's on top of the world right now. She really does have the world on a string, and I love being able to tell other people that I listen to Celine and that she still IS around. And that Celine is one of the few people who still produces quality music today.
