TCOML set list: GOOD GOOD

Once again let's play Whitney fans for a while and pretend we are still in 1993 where Whitney was all clean and with a good voice like nothing really had happened. All jolly good. So let's remember, this time on this very forum, the gorgeous set list for Céline's "The Colour Of My Love Tour":

Mmmmm...don't like it as much as the FIY tour, but it's better than the LTAL tour. I guess it depends on which era you like and don't like. I'm not the biggest fan of her music in that time, while her voice was great in that time. But the tour was still good, I'll admit. It was sort of the 'seedling' tour when she was REALLY coming into her own.

Already looking at the set list you can feel its rawness and ahhhhhhh...magic! I wish there were a DVD of this tour available! It's a crime there isn't anything that documents her raw stage costumes during the era and of course her vocal majesty.

You're right...there was a lot of rawness in this tour, and that was really good. Her voice seemed to be more raw back then as well, with the way she'd let out those blazingly hot belts without a second thought. That tour was raw and fearless!

OMG, she sang "Unison" during that tour?! UGH...I would give anything to see that! It's almost like she totally ignores that album now. ::sigh:: Oh well.

It was in 1994, wasn't it?! , not 1993. Do you know which cities she toured? I read she toured Canada, Japan and in the USA together with Michael Bolton. I wonder if they had different set-lists, like on FIY tour or LTAL tour. I really don't understand why there is so little information and documentary about that tour.

Too bad they didn't release one of those concerts on VHS instead of the Disney playback special from Quebec.

I really miss her singing those songs like "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", "River Deep Mountain High" or "Calling You" sometimes.

Do you really think the Olympia was part of the tour? It was just two concerts, wasn't it? Jean-Jacques Goldman went to see her at the concert. That was the time when she went to France to meet him for D'eux.

Looks a bit like her AND opening night hair..

That hair is very "Julie Andrews"!! I think we often forget that she's had very short hair before...although it doesn't look incredible there either. Nevertheless, I'd like to see more from that era.

In my opinion her hair cut at the opening night looked better, this looks like her coiffeur had an accident. I don't know why people didn't like her short hair, it suited her very well, like she had it in 1995 with the short dark hair during the promotion of D'eux, or the one from A New Day

Oh, bellamy, thanks for drawing my attention to it! No, no, no, I haven't seens the video at all - only the snippets from the Quebec special. She sounded absolutely amazing and got this leather suit which she then took to her Australia FIY tour in 1996... it must have been so amazing to witness her in the year 1995. We do have one bootleg recording from 1995 - unfortunately only FEW fans have it and will not share and will deny its existance. I know for sure it exists.

What I've seen are very short snippets too. I even never seen snippets of this look before. Too bad we can't have concert video from that era.
