Let me see if I can find a picture of the era when I would drool over him. http://www.davidlynch.de/cyrus.jpg http://www.blogwaybaby.com/uploaded_images/Billy%20Ray%20Cyrus-778832.jpg Quote

VanMerlin Posted June 4, 2006 at 06:27 PM Posted June 4, 2006 at 06:27 PM WOW!! I haven't heard of him for ages, since he was doing the acting gig. Nice to see him back in the musical scene with a new album. I suppose I may check it out just to see what he's doing, although I'm not a fan. Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted June 16, 2006 at 08:45 PM Author Posted June 16, 2006 at 08:45 PM I was just browsing Amazon's site and they finally have a product info section, as well as an updated track list. Here's the info.: Product DescriptionEveryone knows the name of the colossal single from Billy Ray Cyrus’ record-breaking 1992 album "Some Gave All" – the infamous "Achy Breaky Heart" (which also inspired a line dance craze). And since then, Billy Ray has enjoyed great success as not only as a country music star but as a successful songwriter and actor. In Billy's two decades long career he has achieved: • 3 #1 singles and 6 Top 10 singles in addition to the platinum and gold albums • 2 AMA awards, 1 CMA award • 6 TNN/Music City News awards • 2 MovieGuide Awards (for "Doc") • He STILL holds the record for 17 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart for "Some Gave All" (the longest time this was held by a debut artist). • Has been recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors • Received the Bob Hope Congressional Medal of Honor Society Entertainer’s Award • Country Radio Broadcaster’s Artist Humanitarian Award • Been inducted into the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall of Fame. As an artist, Billy Ray Cyrus continues to create music that is close to his heart… music that rocks, can touch one’s emotions, songs that are reverent and some even satirical, and all styles are evident on his CD debut release on New Door Records, "Wanna Be Your Joe." Updated Tracklist1. Wanna Be Your Joe 2. I Want My Mullet Back 3. The Man (Tribute To Dale Earnhardt) 4. I Wouldn't Be Me 5. What About Us 6. Country Music Has The Blues (featuring George Jones, Loretta Lynn) 7. The Freebird Fell 8. I Wonder 9. Lonely Wins 10. How've Ya Been 11. Ole What's Her Name 12. Hey Daddy 13. Stand 14. Bonus Track: A Pain In The Gas I can't wait! Quote
VanMerlin Posted June 16, 2006 at 08:50 PM Posted June 16, 2006 at 08:50 PM That's a great track list. I'd love to know what some of those would songs sound like. 'Pain In The Gas', 'I Want My Mullet Back', and 'Country Music Has The Blues' sound interesting. Too hilarious to be real. Are you sure it's not a fake tracklist? Quote

I'm kind of glad that there's 2 more songs than when I first posted. The more the better is my motto, at least when it comes to CDs. If I'm gonna shell out my hard-earned money I better get a lot! But, Billy Ray never lets me down - musically. There hasn't been one album that I've thought of as "crap" and tossed or traded. GO BRC! ...Joe... Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted June 23, 2006 at 12:09 AM Author Posted June 23, 2006 at 12:09 AM I just found out that there's a place to download and hear BRC's new single, "Wanna Be Your Joe." But, alas, I don't have the system requirements to do so, not to mention I'm on dial-up, so it would take forever to download some program called Urge. If there's anyone on here that would be willing to download the song and convert it to an MP3 for me and post it hear or e-mail it to me, I WILL LOVE THAT PERSON FOREVER! The link to find is as follows... http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/cyrus_billy_...122/album.jhtml I'm not one to beg, but PLLLLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! LMAO ...Joe... Quote
