She was on her Let's Talk About Love tour and it was coming to my city, Halifax, Canada. I remember asking my mother for Celine's biography for Christmas. So I got it on special order as I wanted the French Version. When it arrived I said I'm keeping it as I'm going to be meeting Celine and she'll sign it for me. At the time I had no idea as to how I would meet her. Strangely enough I got a fortune cookie (I never believe them but this time I did) that said your bigges wish will come true. At that moment it was meeting Celine and I knew then and there Iwould meet her but still had no idea. By midweek there was a clipping in the paper saying that she was going to have an autograph session for her biography. I stood in line for 5 hours in the cold to have her sign it. I tell you it was worth every second of it. The woman in beyond amazing. The things that she does for her fans is incredible. We were told it was before a concert so she wasn';t going to talk. you think celine could stop talking to us. No. She just grabbed the microphone from the guy and chatted non stop. She did have a time limit as she had to prepare for the concert but she went over her half hour time limit and signed for everyone. I believe we were close to 600 that were there that afternoon. It was for sure a treat for us here in Halifax to have her so such a session on December 5th, 1998. It was also her 5th time giving a concert in the city. her Lucky number and for me it seems that way to as I was able to meet her and see her live for the first time. Quote Instagram: @delphis78
