He is so quick, so critical (in a good way) that it means all the more that he loves Celine. He didn't give the Idols and inch with those songs, demanding perfection. Darn, it was a great show to watch just to see his work ethic, and how incredible Celine must be in the studio, for him to adore working with her so much. Quote

He has always praised Céline's vocal abilities and work ethic, as she always delivers EXACTLY what he wants or even surpasses what he deems perfection. (He must be a Virgo?!) ANYHOW!!! He makes Simon sound like a purring pussy cat! I think they both are doing and saying the right things by telling these kids the truth and not sugar coating it! That's what showbiz is REALLY like! Tonight I was disappointed by Andrea's performance - not him...his voice is magnificent! It was the music...it was so loud it TOTALLY drowned out his vocals! I did think it was time for Kellie Pickler to go. Hollywood would eat her alive...poor naive little sweetheart that she is! I'm also glad that Simon apologized to Katherine! Her rendition of the Whitney Houston song was AWESOME! OK...so in all actuality... I believe the ENTIRE thing is rigged! I believe the top 2 vocalists (Paris & Katherine) will be voted off. Next week, the remaining contestants will go to Graceland working with Tommy Mottola.
