Posted August 19, 2006 at 03:06 AM Posted August 19, 2006 at 03:06 AM I'll take what I can get!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>i think that's the problem of too many people, taking what we can get... in terms of films and acting, i still think CELINE needs to do something PERSONAL, SUBSTANTIAL, REAL, something that would showcase her true acting abilities, and not merely some 2-minute role in an overrated sequel (or TREQUEL, rather)... i see her doing a movie about PIAF, that one with GINETTE RENO, maybe something unique that would run at a film festival so she could win a CANNES, SUNDANCE, maybe GOLDEN GLOBE, and then an OSCAR... oceans 13 will make her look as cheap as she did when she appeard on DEAL OR NO DEAL, and it just gonna further irritate people, namely FANS (at least ME!)... - ANewDay...

Celine Dion is almost like another phrase for good singer. "She's no Celine Dion". So, for Celine to try to be an actress at this point would just not be a great career move. I know most of you will be like "whatever! Celine can do anything!" but it's just not true. I think she could hold her own in a small, supporting role...but that's something she's just not used to. She is the headliner, and that's why she should spend her time working on quality albums for people to hear to generations to come.
