Thanks for the recap Sarah! I'm taped it cause im at work now, so now im super excited to go home and watch it! I wish there was more from the sound check, and that Tyra would not have messed up Rene's name, I mean come on! If your going to interview someone you should at least know how t say their husbands name! It must have been really neat seeing the backstage area since you were there, sooo so lucky! Thanks again!

Yep, Celine was on the first part of the show...I do wish that there would have been more questions about future plans and that kinda thing...I guess we will just wait and see what happens!

Its just so interesting how her English vs French interviews mimic her English vs French music. The English interviews are always so shallow and the French ones so much more in depth. I don't understand why that is.

 

She just had a pretty decent interview in Gala magazine about getting older, and what her future plans are. But on Tyra its the same old...."so you're the youngest of 14??"

Its the interviewers though and i think that the French know her better you know! maybe cos of her music is more about her and more introspective that they feel that they have more of a sense of the person she is and feel at ease with asking her more in depth questions!

LOL, my thoughts exactly... wouldn't it have been nice for Tyra to catch a REAL big Céline fan? Geez. Was it just me or did Céline seem a little tired? I don't know when this interview was taped... but she seemed tired in some parts. It was good overall... pretty much the same questions, but we already know everything anyways, lol.

I agree with you. No English interviewer could follow Celine like the guys from Star Systeme.

Just think how many Celine songs does Larry King know VS Michael Drucker, or Oprah VS Julie Snyder.
