News about the A New Day... DVD

Well they excluded tracks on both Live A Paris DVD and Live In Memphis (not sure about the ACDS one) so it is very possible...

Some songs were only used for short periods of times, 1-2 months (such as In Some Small Way), what I meant was include those songs as a bonus unless the song(s) are included on one of the versions of the concert.

Well here they did very bad. Releasing one version, then another one then another one. Giving fans who bought the first version a really hard time.

 

What they should do is INFORM what versions they're about to release so that one can figure out which one they want and go for that version (and wait for that version if it is released later).

 

What was done with ONCP was purely mean, no other reason but to make money off of fans...

they said...new and additional changes will be made to A New Day...i wonder what changes...what songs?

Well don't be too happy about the blonde DVD since we still don't know if they decide to release it. They said they are thinking about it. (but are not sure)

 

Don't ask for something wish isn't really necessary, someone will make their own cds from the DVD.

 

Let's pray that she will include more "rare" tracks in that dvd. Like, Think Twice, Where Does My Heart Beat Now, Beauty and the Beast, Seduces Me e.t.c.....

Hehe, was that they only reason? Then why did they include Treat Her Like A Lady?? And most songs on the TCOML concert?

People, how I wish that the only changes made to the track list of the show now (which will be included on the new DVD) is that the "standard" tracks are being exchanged (for example IIC, LCMM, BYLM etc) and not the tracks which are already switched in (PQTME, ANDHC) coz this is the only way we'll get ALL songs (well except from ISSW, but that could be included as bonus) which has been performed on A New Day (since the standards are already inlcuded on the "old" version (blonde) of the DVD we wont miss one track which we would if they are going to exchange PQTME or ANDHC, then we wont have those tracks since those aren't on the blonde DVD, and we'd surely miss them).

I understand you, Fred. When Celine changed her hair from blonde to brown, was ANHDC/PQTME already part of the song list? I don't remember if both of the songs were added at the same time and when.

 

I don't think they will exchange the standard songs with PQTME, ANDHC for one of the version(s) (imagine Celine with blonde hair for one song, long brown hair on another, it'll be absurd)..I'm assuming that one version of the concert will include the songs from the same day, this way there is consistency. Just release 2 versions, makes it less confusing.

 

At the very least, include the changed-songs as a bonus. am I making any sense?

You misunderstood me.

 

Here's the deal, two DVD:s :

 

Blonde hair DVD

Contains all "standard" tracks + Nature Boy, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Have You Ever Been In Love

 

Brown hair DVD

Will be shot later this year, at the moment the show contains the standards but not NB TFTEISYF and HYEBIL, but it HAS instead Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore and A New Day Has Come, will have changes made before the DVD is shot.

 

Now the changes will most likely exchange PQTME and ANDHC to some new aditions. The brown hair DVD will be shot. Now we won't have PQTME and ANDHC, but some other songs. PQTME and ANDHC might be lost.

 

Now if BOTH versions are going to be released we have TWO DVD:s and the "standards" will be on both of them.

 

So why not when they are gonna "make the changes" exchange the standard tracks so that PQTME and ANDHC will still be there. Nothing will be lost since we already have all standards on the blonde hair DVD.

 

In my idea this would look like this:

 

Blonde hair DVD

Contains all "standard" tracks + Nature Boy, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Have You Ever Been In Love.

 

Brown hair DVD

Contains most of the standards, but some of them are exhanged for new additions + Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore and A New Day Has Come

 

Now if they don't do this they will most certainly exhange those who have already exhanged other tracks - which is Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore and A New Day Has Come. So these will be lost to us. But we will have two sets of standard tracks (on the blonde DVD and the brown DVD).

 

But if they'll do like I am trying to say we'll have all standards (all on the blonde DVD and some on the brown DVD), Nature Boy, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Have You Ever Been In Love, A New Day Has Come and Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore. Thereby all songs sung in A New Day... except from In Some Small Way, but that track could be included as a bonus feature (not in the concert itself but on a bonus menu).

 

I have no wish for a DVD with mixed hair colours and I have never said I wanted one. There'd perhaps be two DVD:s right? One blonde and one brown, no mix.

 

Please, am I making sense to anyone??

See, this is why there exists a cardinal rule of show business: Don't change your hair in the middle of a performance season! Gahz! I doubt that Sony cares enough to actually make a good DVD of all the songs, they'll give us the blonde or the brown..I don't think there will be two (unless it has already been decided that there will be?)

Well that's what I've been saying, if you still want to have ANDHC and PQTME on the DVD (they weren't on when the blonde was shot) you have to contact them and ask them not to change those tracks but some of the others instead. Coz they said that before the new DVD will be shot they will change some things, and changes mean switching songs, and ANDHC and PQTME is most likely to be swtiched since those already been switched. So with this means that we'll probobly never have a DVD with ANDHC and PQTME in the track list.
