Hi everyone! I have the privilege to tell you all about an unique offer for fans of Céline! You can buy a drawing of Céline at a reduced price!

 

So, how did this all start? Most of you will know this story already, but this last September my friend Janine and I went to Las Vegas to see Céline’s show. We wanted to bring a special gift for Céline and we decided we would try to find someone who could make a drawing of Céline and her father. We searched on the internet and found the company ‘De Portretspecialist’ in Holland. This company is specialised in making portraits and we sent them some pictures to see if they could work things out. After a little while we received a scan of the portrait they made and we were totally overwhelmed by the beauty of it. They did not have to change a thing and we took the drawing with us to Vegas. We managed to give it to someone who brought it backstage and when Céline saw the drawing, she was so touched by it that she wanted to thank us personally. We were invited backstage and our biggest dream came true: we met Céline!

 

When we came back in Holland we e-mailed our story and a picture to the man that took care of our drawing (Tom Klinkhamer) and he liked it so much, that we stayed in touch. Some time ago he came up with the idea to organise a special event for Céline’s fans: we would pick some portraits that would be drawn and the fans can buy these drawings at a reduced price. A wunderful idea was born!

 

The deal

 

You can pick one of four selected portraits and buy it at a reduced price of 38 Euro’s. This price includes shipping and handling. When you order a portrait, a drawer will start to work on it as soon as possible. When he has finished the drawing, you will receive a scan of it by e-mail to see if you are satisfied. If you want to have things changed, you can let them know by e-mail and they will change the drawing. When you are completely satisfied, the drawing will be sent to Tom Klinkhamer, who works for ‘De Portretspecialist’. He will send the drawing to you.

 

Tom also has an extra offer for us: you can buy extra portraits at a reduced price of 40 Euro’s. This can be a portrait of anyone you want, a beloved one, familymember, a pet or maybe a second portrait of Céline? Its your pick, just as long as you order it together with one of the portraits of Céline! You can buy as many extra portraits as you want!

 

Terms and conditions:

 

* You can pick one of the portraits of Céline and buy it for 38 Euro’s;

* Shipping- and handlingcosts are included in the price;

* You can order an extra portrait (or extra portraits) of anyone you want for 40 Euro’s. You have to order this portrait/these portraits together with a Céline-portrait;

* You will receive a scan of your portrait by e-mail. If you are not satisfied, you can send your feedback to Tom and he will make sure the drawer fixes the problem. If you are still not satisfied after he fixed the drawing, you can cancel your order;

* The size of each portrait is 30X40 centimeters;

* The drawing will be made with charcoalpowder at watercolourpaper;

* You can pay for the drawing by moneytransfer to the bankaccount of De Portretspecialist. You can wait with your payment until you are completely satisfied with the scan of the drawing;

* You can order your drawing until February 15th, 2006. All drawings will be delivered before March 15th, 2006.

 

This action is temporary only for fans in The Netherlands and very soon also for fans in Belgium and Germany. People from other countries will have to pay money for their banktransfer to a foreign bankaccount and the shippingcosts will be higher, so its difficult to organise such a thing worldwide. But Tom did say that he will see what he can do for people from other countries if this action will become a huge success! And I have good news for the fans in the United Kingdom: Tom will probably open a bankaccount in England to give the fans in the UK the opportunity to buy these drawings as well! As soon as this will be arranged, it will be announced at the website of De Portretspecialist.

At the website you can pick one of the portraits. If you want to order a second portrait, include the picture when you fill out the form. Make sure it’s a sharp and clear picture, because they can only make a good portrait if the receive a good picture! If your picture is not clear enough, Tom will send you an e-mail to let you know.

The one with Céline and her dad was so great, the look on her face was really striking, almost melancholy. I was really surprised when I saw it the first time, it was exactly the way I wished it would be. I hope she gave it a nice place backstage or maybe even in her house... Its nice to dream, isnt it?
