Time to team up with the Il Divo fans?

I just put this topic at the Il Divo forum as well, call me crazy, but I feel like its time for action! I was thinking, Sony is wasting a perfect opportunity by not bringing I believe in you in stores as a single. Yes, it will be a radio-single in the USA and perhaps other countries will get it on the radio as well, but why not make a single of it that we can buy in stores? With a videoclip and a lot of publicity? Why not make the fans of both Il Divo and Céline happy? :down:

So, what do you think? We can sit and wait or we can let Sony find out how we all feel about this... Maybe the Il Divo forum and this forum can team up together and make sure Sony knows what we want. And if it does not work, maybe we will get some attention anyway! Lets go public! Time for action! I think Il Divo and Céline will be delighted when they hear their fans love the song and want that single! :in_love:

I don't think we can change anything now. I think it's too late to make a single CD now. If I'm not wrong, the Il Divo forum is the official forum run by SONYBMG. They have contacts to SONYBMG. I think if they really want to express what they want, they'd do it long time ago.

Yeah, I know its probably a waste of time, but isnt it nice to get some attention anyway? If we make an international action of it, we will probably get some attention for the good cause and I think its nice to know for Céline that her fans are not people that just sit and wait and accept everything. I remember the fans of Michael Jackson got some attention a few years ago, also in the press. I was kind of jealous at them, because we always sit and wait and don't do a thing. Sometimes we complain but we never make this known to the world. At least it feels like that sometimes.

I know, I know, it will not bring a single in stores but can't a woman dream every now and then? :msn-tongue:

BTW, I think everyone thought Michael Jackson fans are nuts for doing that. I don't envy them for that. and an online poll or petition won't make it known to the world. you need to parade or something to make fuss about it

Ok, they were crazy, but Michael is crazy too, so thats the good thing about it... :msn-tongue: If we would do something like that, we would do it in a sophisticated way, of course... :whistling1:

We have members from all over the world, maybe we can make a press-release on behalf of the fans of both Céline and Il Divo and try to get some attention for it in several countries? And also send this statement to CDA Productions in Vegas and Sony Music? Again, I know its hard to work such a thing out, but I think its worth it. We are way too sweet and we accept everything that happens. We never complain so maybe now the time has come to make everyone know what we want? :msn-wink: I can make a statement on behalf of the fans, no problem...

I do think that Sony couldn't care less about fans... And couldn't care less about promoting Céline. I'm really tired of Sony, and I'm really tired over the fact that they are constantly screwing (sorry the expression) up whatever they (pretend to) do. For me the last spot was the promo cd of tous les sécrets... Using a photo from 2003???? Peluuuze!

So... I do not think that anything we do will have any effect on Céline or on Sony's decision. They always do whatever they want.

Ok, lets go for it! :clap: I think its nice anyway for Céline and Il Divo to find out their fans united and are fighting for this single! :thumbsup2:

First of all I will make a message, but I would be very happy if you can help me with this... I made a beginning, please take a look at it and give your comments, I dont do this every day... :confused:

We already have several countries involved in this, I think the best thing we can do, is get a 'spokesperson' for every country. This person will translate the English message in his own language and will make sure the message will be sent to the media. Of course its ok to do this with more people, just as long as there is one person who can answer questions if the media want more info. We will send our message to newspapers, radiostations and televisionchannels (the ones that have showbizz-news). A copy of the message will be sent to your local Sony. Then we have to make sure CDA Productions gets it as well and I hope the Il Divo-fans can make sure the management of Il Divo reads it as well.

If the media do not pay attention to it, it was a nice try. But at least we made sure Céline and Il Divo know we really appreciate the song and we want them to give us a single of it! :bye1:

Oh, and more countries involved are more than welcome! Help needed!
