I think the caption could have been a bit nicer. Skilly and pale? Aging husband? Fading health? Quite rude actually!

Well I agree with you...that was a very rude caption. I think Rene is a very handsome man, and Celine works her butt off with all that dancing...of course she's going to be thin! I think they look wonderful together, and I wish I looked like that in jeans!!!

Ummm I don't think she looks any different to how she usually looks?

Everyone in those photos looks a little pale...so maybe it's the light or something? She didn't look particularly pale in any of the recent concert pictures. And whyyyy in the hell do people always have to comment on other people's weight? Yesterday someone says it looks like she gained weight, today they're like ohh she's too skinny...ugh!! Why do people fixate on it so much? Leave Celine, and women in general, alone!

If anything, maybe she looks a bit more rested these past few days, from having time to relax while she was sick.

 

But, I do think it's sooo cute how they're holding hands. :) So thanks for posting!

Yeah that caption is really STUPID and shows that the writer does not know what they are talking about. Celine looks fantastic and the first thing I thought of when I saw Rene in the photos is how GREAT he looks.

Its her day off, shes leaving her hotel to get into her car to fly back to vegas after days of concerts, tv appearances etc.... give her a break!

Shes one of the most grounded and sweetest diva's on the planet, and I think she looks amazing with or without makeup, having met her during a show and on her day off........

And rene looks incredible for his age, I hope I look halfas good when I'm in my 60's!!

 

The press dont like printing nice things about celebs these days, and they have tried digging and delving into Celine's life and past for a long time, and they just cant accept that shes amazing, happy, has a great life, and theres nothing to uncover or beans to spill on her.

 

I kind of feel sorry for the press who write these stories and captions... because at the end of the day, it comes down to jelousy.... plain and simple.

 

Celine has an incredible career and and amazing life, who wouldn't be jelous!!

But shes earned it.....and people should give her the credit shes due, give her more respect, praise her and be happy for her........

I think the thing that the press can't stand about Celine is that she is not scandalous and they want her to be since it makes better stories for them. Celine is a grounded person who happens to be a celebrity and values her family the most. Since they never want to acknowledge this they always bring back the same, lame old comments like "she's too skinny" or the bring up her singing boring ballads, etc. Celine gets the last laugh though since she leads a great life.

On the AU CŒUR OUVERT spécial she mentioned that there was once a journalist interviewing her---trying SO HARD to get a nitty gritty story---asking if she'd ever hit anyone, if she'd ever done drugs, etc etc----and she stopped the interview and told the person "Listen, if you don't like the answers you get from interviewing me----interview someone else. " They always want the dirt---and Céline's a pretty good role model---she's always had her head on straight.
