I happen to like a very wide variety of music, especially female singers. Im not saying this because im a fan, but i think out of every female singer ever, celine's voice is just unparallel. In my opinion she is the greatest female vocalist in history. I have always wanted her to make a song just showcasing the true power she possesses. Since no song like that exists, which would u say is her best song vocally wise. Power, length of notes, etc.

I think all by myself, i surrender, river deep mountain high, the power of love....Nonetheless, songs like miles to go, je crois toi or pour que tu m'aimes encore are for me vocally perfect, maybe not as powerful as the before mentioned ones, but maybe more expressive than impressive

Your words are mine, I completely agree...

I also consider "Papillon" a song that requires a lot of technique and skills that aren't common to most singers...but it's still emotional and sensitive.

In fact, there are other songs that fit in this description in my opinion...like "Quand on n'a que l'amour", "Calling you", "Us" and the whole "These are special times" album.

As far as interpretation, there is simply no better song that Celine has recorded more than "Papillon". She takes us with her in that song...and her vocals simply can't be matched. So sweet, yet so powerful.

I will agree with my friend Moleque20, especially for: "Papillon", "Seduces Me". "All By Myself". I have to add -no question about it- "I Surrender".

 

But, if you don't have listened to "Nadie Lo Entiende" by Café Quijano, in wich Celine does some A M A Z I N G vocals, then you gotta check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry, and will get alot of disagreements for this, but I surrender is not as 'good vocally' as it suppose to be. Her voice sounds like she had to take too much effort for that long note. I prefer it 'live'.

I love the way she talks French the most ). She speaking French somehow sounds best to me , for example her talking in Au couer du stade...her introducing other artists like Bocelli, J.J Goldman...something like that
