Los dos se conocen y sienten una incuestionable conexión, pero parece que no pueden dejar el pasado atrás. EXCLUSIVE: Sam Heughan (Outlander) and Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico) are set to star in the Screen Gems romantic drama, tentatively titled Text For You, with music icon and five-time Grammy Award winner Celine Dion also joining the cast. Grace Is Gone helmer Jim Strouse is directing the pic from a screenplay he wrote with Lauryn Kahn undertaking the most recent re-write.

The film is inspired by the 2016 German-language box office hit SMS Fur Dich, which is based on Sofie Cramer’s popular novel. It’s about a woman who, to ease the pain after tragically losing her fiancé, starts to send romantic texts to his old cell. It turns out, the phone number has been reassigned to a man across town suffering from similar heartbreak. The two meet and feel an undeniable connection, but can’t seem to leave the past behind. In this English language remake, the music and influence of Dion gives them the courage to take a chance on love again.

Dion, a Sony Music artist, is one of the best-selling artists of all time with record sales of over 200 million worldwide, including hit singles The Power of Love, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Beauty and the Beast, and the perennial theme song to Titanic, My Heart Will Go On, the latter two earning Oscars for Best Original Song of the Year.

Thunder Road’s (A Star is Born, John Wick) Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Esther Hornstein are producing the film.

Best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz series Outlander, Heughan recently starred in the action comic book movie, Bloodshot opposite Vin Diesel, and stars in the action/thriller SAS: Red Notice and in the Roald Dahl biopic An Unquiet Life.

Chopra Jonas’ upcoming slate includes The Matrix 4, Russo Brother’s Citadel, Netflix’s adaptation of the Man Booker Prize-winning novel The White Tiger, and We Can Be Heroes, directed by Robert Rodriguez.

Strouse’s Grace Is Gone, which stars John Cusack, received the Audience Award for Most Popular Dramatic feature and the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at 2007 Sundance Film Fest. Other credits include The Incredible Jessica James, starring Jessica K. Williams, People Places Things with Jemaine Clement and Regina Hall as well as The Hollars which Strouse wrote and John Krasinski directed. Kahn is the screenwriter behind forthcoming social thriller Fresh starring Daisy Edgar Jones for Legendary.

From Oscar®-nominated filmmaker Irene Taylor, the documentary will serve as the definitive feature for one of the most immediately recognized, widely respected and successful performers in pop music history. Made with Dion’s full participation and support, the film will commemorate the Canadian songstress’ incredible life story and career accomplishments including iconic album releases, award accolades, world tours and Las Vegas residencies.

 

Imagined through the lens of acclaimed American filmmaker Irene Taylor, the documentary will delve deep into Dion’s singular life experience. Most recently, Taylor directed the Emmy®-nominated documentary Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements. Her debut feature film, Hear and Now, won a Peabody Award and the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. Additional accolades include a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Program for her short film, One Last Hug, as well as an Academy Award® nomination for The Final Inch, which also garnered multiple Emmy nominations and the International Documentary Association’s Pare Lorentz Award.

Celine Dion will headline the British Summer Time festival in her only European date this year.

 

The singer joins Florence + The Machine, Robbie Williams, Bob Dylan and Neil Young in topping the Hyde Park event in London.

 

The Canadian, 50, is best known for her 1997 hit My Heart Will Go On which was the theme to James Cameron's blockbuster film, Titanic.

The Grammy-award winning artist said: "It's my first time doing a show in beautiful Hyde Park. I'm so excited.

 

"I love London, and it's a great honour for me to be part of the Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park concerts. I can't wait. Summertime in London, here we come!"

 

She will perform on July 5 with support acts yet to be announced. The performance will come a month after she closes her second Las Vegas residency at the famous Caesars Palace hotel.

 

Dion forged her reputation with records like The Power Of Love and Because You Loved Me. More recently her Las Vegas residency A New Day... became the highest-grossing concert residency ever, taking roughly £300 million.

 

James King, senior vice president of AEG Presents, said: "Celine's record-breaking career has seen her perform her many iconic songs on the globe's most iconic stages, yet never before in Hyde Park.

 

"It is therefore with the utmost excitement that we are bringing Celine Dion to Hyde Park for her only European show of 2019."

 

Daniel Mathieson, head of experiential marketing and partnerships for Barclaycard, said: "We are incredibly proud to be hosting such a huge icon this year.

 

"Celine is one of the most celebrated and respected musicians of all time and it will be a privilege to have her perform alongside what is shaping up to be a fantastic set of headliners.

 

"We are looking forward to seeing her bring some of her biggest hits to Hyde Park and it remains to be seen whether there will be a dry eye in the house after such a titanic performance."

 

Previous acts to have played British Summer Time include Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, The Strokes and Black Sabbath.

 

Tickets for the show will be available in a fan pre-sale on January 23, with general sale tickets available on January 29.

Aldo Nova & Stephan Moccio Write The Celine Dion Hit, "A New Day Has Come"

Songwriters often dream about writing the first single for a superstar artist’s new album. They know the competition is fierce, with literally thousands of writers vying to place their song with a top artist like Celine Dion. But Aldo Nova and Stephan Moccio came together to write "A New Day Has Come," the first single and title track from Dion’s new album release.

 

 

Aldo Nova

Both Nova and Moccio are well known figures in the Canadian music scene. Nova is a twenty-year veteran based in Montreal, who has enjoyed multi-platinum success as a recording artist (including his hit, "Fantasy"), and as a producer and songwriter. He has written cuts on many of Dion’s albums, and has collaborated with artists such as Jon Bon Jovi. Moccio is a young, classically-trained musician based in Toronto, who has written and produced several Canadian hits (including "Alive" by Edwin).

 

Nova was introduced to Moccio by Vito Luprano (Vice President of A&R for Sony Music Canada), and Gary Furniss (President of Sony/ATV Music Canada, which publishes Moccio). "Gary and Vito suggested that I write with Stephan," recalled Nova. "Stephan flew to Montreal, and we started collaborating. We immediately hit it off as a writing team, and on the third day (in May 2001) we wrote ‘A New Day Has Come.’"

 

"‘A New Day’ stood out as the song we should focus on," added Moccio. "Aldo knew Celine very well, and he was able to write about [the hardship she endured] trying to have a baby, and the great joy she experienced with the birth of her son. I wrote most of the music, and Aldo wrote most of the lyrics. We finished writing the song in one afternoon."

 

A few weeks later, Moccio recorded the demo tracks in his Toronto studio. "We created the demo to sound like a Celine record," explained Moccio. "It was a big production."

 

Upon completion of the demo, Nova played it for Luprano, who is Dion’s A&R executive. Luprano immediately loved "A New Day Has Come," and soon after played the demo for Dion and her husband/manager, Rene Angeli. Dion loved the song, and decided to record "A New Day Has Come" for her upcoming album.

 

 

Stephan Moccio

"It was an unbelievable feeling to hear the news, that Celine would be recording our song," said Moccio. "It was like being on cloud nine. The following day, we received more good news: [top producer] Walter Afanasieff would be producing the song, with Aldo co-producing."

 

In September, Afanasieff produced the master tracks for "A New Day Has Come," which included recording a full orchestra. The next month, Dion recorded her vocal tracks. Everyone was very happy with the result, and soon after, it was decided that "A New Day Has Come" would be the title track of Dion’s album.

 

"In November, we got word it would be the title cut," recalled Moccio. "Then night before Christmas, we got the biggest news, that it would be the first single. I was so happy; I shared the news with my fiance, and with my manager." Nova added, "It still hasn’t sunk in. I’ve been fortunate to have had several cuts with Celine over the years, but to get the first single, it was a tremendous feeling."

 

Landing the first single was a remarkable feat, especially when considering that "A New Day Has Come" was the first single and album to be released by Dion in more than two years, following her hiatus and the birth of her son. Since its release in February, the single has enjoyed worldwide chart success. The album, which was released in late March, has also fared well, reaffirming Dion’s status as an international, best-selling artist.

 

"Since the single came out, it’s been sheer excitement," said Moccio. "Things have been going non-stop; many opportunities have arisen since we got the single. I feel humble and very thankful that somehow our song broke through."

 

"Writing and working with Stephan has been a great experience," added Nova. "Our collaboration has gotten off to a great start, and we’ve been very busy, writing many more songs together, and making the most of this wonderful opportunity."

Todo ésto viene porque Vito Luprano (al que injustamente acaban de despedir de Sony Music Canadá) presentó a ambos productores, quedaron para trabajar juntos en Montreal y en Mayo de 2001 ya estaba escrita la canción.

Para hacer la canción se inspirarone n los últimos años de la vida de Céline, sobre el bache con René y el nacimiento de su hijo, pues al parecer hicieron la canción en una sola tarde.

Al parecer confeccionaron una demo en Toronto, y se lo mostraron a Luprano el cual se lo quiso mostrar a la pareja Angelil-Dion los cuales se mostraron encantados y quisieron grabarla de esa manera de convirtió en el primer single del álbum etc...

Après l’annonce de la fin de sa résidence à Las Vegas pour Juin 2019, après plus de 1000 représentations, et un concert européen unique le 05 Juillet 2019 à Londres, les fans vont être ravis !

En effet, Céline Dion repart en tournée mondiale avec son “Courage World Tour” dès la fin d’année dans les 4 quatre coins du monde.

Premièrement, elle fera escale en Amérique du Nord, dont les places seront en vente dès le Vendredi 12 Avril 2019. Concernant l’Europe, on ferait bien de se préparer à une annonce dans les quelques semaines à venir d’une tournée et l’annonce de concerts exceptionnels en France l’année prochaine !

A noter que son nouvel album : “Courage”, sortira courant Novembre 2019.

Céline Dion will visit Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Nov 18 for a special one-on-one episode, PEOPLE can exclusively announce.

It’ll be the first time the Grammy winner, 51, has ever appeared on the acclaimed series — the only live show in late night.

To celebrate, the WWHL team have dubbed the episode “My Heart Will Dion,” with a photoshopped graphic of Cohen, 51, and Dion in Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s iconic pose from Titanic (the 1997 film for which Dion’s sang the title anthem, “My Heart Will Go On”).

La grabación del album se realizará en Las Vegas, al igual que se hizo con 1 fille & 4 Types. Jean-Jacques Goldman, apreciado colaborador de Celines desde el album D'eux, lanzado en 1995 y con unas ventas record de 6 millones de ejemplares en todo el planeta, allí estará.

Goldman que ha compuesto algunas de las más bellas canciones de Celine, como Pour que tu m'aimes encore y S'il suffisait d'aimer, estará presente desde el principio hasta el fin del proyecto. Podría, también, actuar en calidad de realizador para alguna canción.

Nombres más tarde

Hay al menos diez canciones para este nuevo album. El número exacto no obstante aún se tiene que determinar.

Rene Angelil no quiere por el momento desvelar el nombre de estas mujeres de letras, novelistas o biográfas que han escrito para Celine. Explica que las afortunadas han sido elegidas por la sutiliza de sus escritos y él estima que los textos especialmente concebidos para Celine son magníficos.

Con este anuncio, nos están dando a entender que Céline tendrá algún tipo de participación en el evento (ya sea a través de un mensaje o lo que todos queremos y deseamos, una actuación) y además, marcaría, bajo mi punto de vista el pistoletazo de salida a lo que se viene en las próximas semanas y meses. ¿Hay ganas o no?

"Times Like This" with Darius Rucker will be the first single, out Nov. 10.

As one of the most prolific songwriters in modern music, Diane Warren has notched nine No. 1 hits and 32 top 10s on the Billboard Hot 100 behind the scenes. But she'll soon come into the solo spotlight with the release of her debut album, Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1.

 

The 64-year-old hitmaker's new collection via BMG is set to come out in early 2021, featuring an all-star roster of performers: John Legend, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, Jason Derulo, Ty Dolla $ign, Jhené Aiko, LP and Darius Rucker.

 

"I am writing new songs all the time, and I really think I’m writing my best songs right now," the Songwriters Hall of Fame icon said about her first-ever studio project in a press statement. "A lot of people have done this kind of project -- Mark Ronson or Calvin Harris or DJ Khaled -- but no one who is just a songwriter has. So why not me? I thought it would be a chance to work with artists I love and other artists I want to work with, and create a cool body of work that shows the diversity of what I do."

Her song with Rucker, "Times Like This," will be released on Nov. 10 as the first single. "Diane is such a legend, so I was absolutely honored when she called saying that she had me in mind for a song. It's one of those things that just being asked to be part of her record -- and especially such a great song like this -- is just amazing," the country star said in a statement. "Then to actually go through the process with a legend like her and to see it all come to life has been a really cool experience."

 

This year, Warren wrote "The Change" (performed by JoJo) as the official anthem for former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris' campaign, as well as "Free" (performed by Charlie Puth) for Disney's The One and Only Ivan and "lo Si (Seen)" (performed by Laura Pausini) for Netflix's The Life Ahead.

Yo por lo personal me encantaría un dueto en ingles con Lara Fabian. No se porque pero Celine la ha ignorado desde siempre. Realmente no se cual sea la razón. Lara Fabian ha sido muy humilde en pedirlo publicamente e incluso decir que la ama y la admira. Creo que Celine ha sido algo ruda y egoísta en eso. Celine ha hecho muchisimos especiales donde invita a artistas franceses, y nunca ha tomado a Lara como consideración. Lara le escribio una carta en un disco cuando grabó un cover de Lamour Existe Encore y Celine nada comentó. Veronic la invito a un show de ella y porque nunca la hemos visto en uno de Celine cuando visita Francia. Estas mas claro que el agua que Celine no le cae bien a Lara.

Volviendo al tema hahaha que me desvie y me desahogue. Realmente quisiera un disco con grandiosas baladas y nuevas canciones con ritmos mas actuales. Pero por favor No Rap Celine que no caiga ahi por ser comercial. Ultimamente esta haciendo cosas que jamas habia hecho

Celebrities and philanthropists are joining forces to honor our Nurse Heroes with an all-star concert to be broadcast worldwide on Thanksgiving, Thursday November 26, 2020. The event will feature artists including Black Eyed Peas, Andrea Bocelli, Céline Dion, Gloria Estefan, Emily Estefan, David Foster, Katharine McPhee Foster, Josh Groban, Carole King, Maluma, Leslie Odom Jr., Pitbull, Allen Stone, Gloria, Emily and Emilio Estefan, the Wailers, Stevie Wonder, host Whoopi Goldberg and special appearances by Billy Crystal, Oprah Winfrey.

The concert will provide funds for programs including scholarships for nurses and their children. It is produced by Emilio Estefan, who says, “I’ve had the privilege of producing some very special concerts but the response from celebrities for Nurse Heroes has been extraordinary, combined they have over 450 million fans following them on social media.

“Together we can change the future – with this concert we will help NurseHeroes.org fund programs including scholarships for nurses and their children.

Taylor Swift will also be lending her support with a donation of a collectible edition “Folklore” guitar signed by her to be auctioned for the benefit of the Nurse Heroes Foundation.

The event is co-produced by Times Square Live Media and Grammy nominee Shelly G. Berg of The Frost School of Music’s Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra as Musical Director. A talented choir of 50 nurses from Northwell Health will also perform as an ensemble with featured celebrities.

Plusieurs des principaux diffuseurs canadiens s’uniront pour diffuser une émission spéciale en soutien aux travailleurs de première ligne qui combattent la COVID-19 partout au pays.

 

Bell Média, Radio-Canada/CBC, Corus Entertainment, Groupe V Média et Rogers Sports & Media se sont associés pour présenter Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble, qui sera diffusée sur les chaînes françaises et anglaises dimanche soir, à 19 h.

 

L’émission d’une heure sera diffusée sur V, CBC, Citytv, CTV et Global, ainsi que sur certaines chaînes spécialisées — dont ICI ARTV, SériesPlus et VRAK —, stations de radio et plateformes de diffusion en continu à travers le Canada. Des sous-titres français seront inclus dans les diffusions des chaînes francophones.

 

L’événement viendra appuyer la campagne de Banques alimentaires Canada, qui souhaite récolter 150 millions $ pour fournir un soutien immédiat aux banques alimentaires de partout au Canada pendant la pandémie de COVID-19.

 

La programmation comprendra des prestations musicales de Céline Dion, Marie-Mai, Shania Twain, Alessia Cara, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Barenaked Ladies, Arkells, Sofia Reyes et William Prince.

 

Parmi les autres célébrités attendues depuis leur domicile, on compte l’autrice Margaret Atwood, la patineuse Tessa Virtue et les vedettes de la télévision Eric McCormack, Jason Priestley, Howie Mandel, Rick Mercer, Russell Peters et Will Arnett.

 

L’événement inclura également la participation de l’astronaute Chris Hadfield, l’écologiste David Suzuki, l’athlète en fauteuil roulant Rick Hansen, les joueurs de hockey Hayley Wickenheiser et Connor McDavid, la joueuse de tennis Bianca Andreescu et la nageuse Penny Oleksiak.

Necesito pediros un favor: es que queria que pusieras fotos de la serie que hizo Celine en 1985, la de DES FLEURS SUR LA NEIGE tanto como de ella sola, acompañada, con los personajes, lo que sea, pero que sean exclusivamente fotos de esa serie

Hace unos días me surgió una idea. Me gustaría que pudiésemos aportar/recopilar en este post la mejor versión de un concierto de cada gira, que no esté editado oficialmente, claro está. Por dos razones: primeramente, para tener una referencia y seguidamente, para tener un fácil acceso a descargar cada concierto, ya que muchos no se encuentran en una calidad aceptable.

Por ejemplo: las mejores versiones de conciertos (completos) de la gira Falling Into You son Londres 1996 y Brunei 1997 -que aunque tiene errores, se escucha de manera aceptable-. Entonces, se podrían subir esos dos como descarga de esa gira.
