Hi guys, I’ve been thinking. There is currently a discussion about rare images of Céline, but we have to recognize that high-quality images of Céline are not easy to find. I don’t know why, but Céline, unlike other singers and celebrities, has very few high-resolution images. The ones in good resolution are especially appreciated by many fans. Why don’t we create a thread dedicated exclusively to HQ-quality images?

Hello everyone, guys. As some of you know, I’m a big collector of everything Céline does. I have hundreds of interviews and videos of her. I’m currently working on the photo section, but I’ve run into a problem: as Thomas shows, AI is creating increasingly realistic photos of Céline, which makes it harder and harder to know whether the photo I’m seeing of Céline on any website is real or fake. I know there are many collectors of Céline photos here. What would you advise me? Thanks.

Hi guys, I’ve been thinking about buying a vinyl player so I can enjoy Céline’s records. I know some people here listen to Céline on a turntable. Which brands would you recommend? I’ve read that vinyls wear out after about 1,200 plays. Is that true or is it fake news? Also, I’ve heard that vinyl players with built-in speakers aren’t good because they sound bad, and Céline could end up sounding distorted. Is that true? Thanks.

Today, I was specifically organizing the dates of the photo sessions in full. Please, do you see that any of them are wrong? Thanks!

Each folder belongs to a complete photo shoot of Céline, containing all of her shots; for example, in the case of Courage, some discarded photos are included.

They are in very high quality; some of them are even the original files from the photo shoot that René and Céline received. I know this from the metadata, which even shows the software they were edited with and the author.

Greetings from Spain! I have an idea to propose. Here in Spain, we have a music group called Fangoria, which is very well-known in Spain and Latin America, authors of the song A Quién Le Importa, covered by Thalía. They have even worked with Paulina Rubio. The thing is, this group is not supported by the record label when it comes to releasing discarded songs, demos, etc. (just like Céline). A friend of theirs, with Fangoria's permission, created the fan group, where they, by obtaining unpublished material from the vault thanks to the artists themselves, the fan club admins, usually make CDs with this unreleased material and demos... allowing the fans to get these rare albums that they wouldn’t otherwise have from the record label.

Lately, the record label has noticed that there is a lot of support for this initiative and has decided to release reissues of nearly forgotten or old albums that didn’t have official production, which makes me wonder: why can’t this be applied to Céline? It’s clear that contacting Céline is almost impossible, but what if we make some noise so that Sony hears us, and maybe it reaches Céline’s team? Celine Dion Forum is a huge community, and if the forum mobilizes, we can make it stand out more than if only one or two people do it. Sony could pass us some unpublished material for us to edit as a fan version.

Remember, this wouldn’t be about Sony releasing unpublished material (we all know here that they probably wouldn’t do that), but what if they allowed us to do it on our own, with all permissions, of course? Céline once said in an interview that she loved how the fans knew things about her that even she didn’t know, or gestures she did without realizing, and the fans tried to replicate them... All this may sound crazy, but who knows? A few years ago, this forum wanted to propose to Céline’s team to release an unreleased concert DVD. Who knows?

I know the president of Fangoria's fan club (a friend of the musical group), and they even do reissues of albums that have already been released, but through the fan club. Warner Music allows it (with all the permissions). Why doesn't Sony allow this with Céline? Has her opinion been heard on this? I don't intend to spam this wonderful forum, but I’ll leave the Fangoria fan club’s website so you can check it out.

Donna Summer has died at the age of 63.

The disco superstar passed away after a battle with lung cancer, according to reports.

"Early this morning, we lost Donna Summer Sudano, a woman of many gifts, the greatest being her faith," her family said in a statement.

"While we grieve her passing, we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy.

"Words truly can't express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time."

A multi-award winning artist famed for her work with producer Giorgio Moroder, Summer was best known for her disco hits 'I Feel Love', 'Hot Stuff', 'Last Dance' and 'Bad Girls'.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts on New Year's Eve in 1948, Summer was one of seven children.

She received five Grammy awards, the first in 1979 for 'Best R&B Vocal Performance (Female)' for 'Last Dance', and the last in 1998 for 'Best Dance Recording' for 'Carry On'.

Summer had a Top 40 hit in the Billboard Hot 100 every single year from 1976 to 1984.

Hey everyone, if you're still here, that is. LOL I just jumped on here because I've felt like listening to Céline Dion a lot lately. And I mean, A WHOLE LOT! It started the other day when I found myself going down a YouTube hole. You know how it is when you go on YouTube, and you're still there three hours later, looking at some video and you don't know how you ended up there? That's what happened to me. Apparently, there's been a trend for the last few years, where people make reaction videos. It's the easiest thing in the world; you just make a video of ... yourself ... watching another video! LOL The world is weird. Anyway, I found several reaction videos where people were listening to Céline, some of them for the first time in their lives! Okay, so maybe I'm showing my age a bit here, but I was actually shocked by this! What?? People exist on the same planet as me, and they've never heard of one of the greatest singers ever to grace us with her beautiful voice? How have you lived?! One guy was even doing commentary videos on all her English albums. He's still going through them. I think his next video will be about the One Heart album, just in case you want to check it out.

So this got me inspired to start listening to her music on a regular basis again. And as I'm still getting bombarded with emails from this forum about topics I haven't read in ages, I figured it was about time I showed up again. I just now finished listening to the entire S'il Suffisait D'aimer album as I've been writing this. Yes, I have the physical CD as part of that ten-CD Céline Dion collection I got from Amazon. And yes, I have heard the Courage album. I just haven't bought it yet. Wait a minute? Was I not even posting here when that came out? I guess I was too busy looking at that Facebook group. Please don't start hating on me because it's 2021 and I still haven't bought Courage! I have my reasons.

I think I should end this now; I'm starting to ramble. Just wanted to say hello again.
